- Corey's visit to the Trial Gardens at Mast Young Plants in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Note that in the Shade section, it's important to consult your plant tags. Many of the varieties mentioned can take Part Shade but not Full Shade.
Never in my life seen such lush beautiful flower's, thank you so much for sharing this with us. ❤
I love these trial garden tours. So much eye candy. This is the first year I tried Supercals. I got two of them and loved them. I'll be happy to invite more next year! I've been growing canna Cleopatra for over 12 years. It's my absolute favorite. Very unique foliage and blooms and quite rigorous. I live in Colorado so everything here has to be tough!
Great tour- I’ll take one of each! Thanks for this inspiration.
Cappuccino Calibrachoa is so sweet and delicate looking yet stands out in any combo, especially with burgundy colors 🥰 My mom’s favorite plants are the impatiens and begonias ❤ I’ll have to show her this video 😊
I'm coming up next year to shop
We start online pre-sales on April 1st if you want to make sure they’re available.
Hey Corey! I really love your virtual garden tours! ❤🌸 I have a few questions for you.
1) Is the Crazytunia's Black and White center really that black?
2) Do you think Mayan Sunset looks very similar to the Supertunia Persimmon?
The Crazytunia Black and White really did look black to me… however, if you planted it with burgundy or purple, it could pick up those colors at the edge of the veining.
Mayan Sunset and Supertunia Persimmon are almost identical. In fact, I planted the two in the same pot for my sister and you really can’t see where one began and the other ended.
@@UpNorthGardenMI I will have to give this Crazytunia a try because it's pretty unique.
Thank goodness that Mayan Sunset and Persimmon look identical!!! Due to some circumstances, we can't get any new Supertunias where I live, but I do see Mayan Sunset listed by a few online stores. So really looking forward to growing it, along with the Plum Cockatoo.
Thank you Corey! You've made my day ))
They’re so similar I had to pluck a flower of the Supertunia and see it side-by-side… Just posted a pic on Instagram… instagram.com/p/CxWVSzgyYF0/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Oh my u need a full video of only impatients i have so much shade around my house i need them i had no idea there is many colors available i tried to look at allthe different ones but it was to fast of a glance
Next time I'll zero in on impatiens :) There are SO MANY new varieties... like the Rollercoaster ones with ruffled edges.
Is there a place you can order these plants in the spring? I am in So Calif so theyt may not be available here?
It’s hard to tell what the online sources will carry. This is also the time to touch base with your favorite local nursery… you might influence their buying decisions.
