'Beyond Words' - Episode 07 from the film 'Koi Sunta Hai'

- Signalling the perils of erudition and the possibilities in the unspoken, this closing episode from the film Koi Sunta Hai teases out the tensions between words and what lies beyond them, musical notes and the space between them, all forms and the profound emptiness from which they spring. As we move from one final conversation with a village singer to a city-based classical artist… the film quietens and slows down, allowing the silences to speak.
Interweaving the folk music traditions of Kabir with the life and music of the late classical singer Kumar Gandharva, the film Koi Sunta Hai searches for that elusive sound, that ‘jhini si awaaz’, Kabir urges us to hear. Where does it resonate, that subtle sound? Journeying between folk and classical, oral and written, rural and urban expressions of Kabir, the film finds moments of both continuity and rupture between these disparate worlds.

Can anyone tell as to what was kabir's method of meditating?..I see so many sects telling to contemplate on sound or breath or one feet above your head, or soham or satynam or so many other ways..can anyone tell what was his real method?
Maybe paper and pen Made him peer. Maybe the mindfulness of living is a living meditation. Meditate on your bathing, drinking tea, eating, sitting, walking, talking, or whatever you might be doing. All of life can be a worship and meditation, don't you think?

All these people who pretend to understand Kabir why can't they come up with a single original verse of their own with even a close parabolic depth of a verse from Kabir? The proof is always in the pudding!
