Great reminder that most times we judge ourselves a bit harshly. You saw the video as frazzled. I saw a mom going the extra mile to make her kids Halloween breakfast and lunch extra special.
Do it while you still can for your kids. My son is already 19 and nit really into stuff like tbis anymore, so yeah, I miss those times.
Yes!! They will appreciate it one day and see how much you did all those "small" things just cause you love them. I was the same way and now my daughter does it for her kids.

My husband and I make mummy dogs every Halloween for dinner. It's a tradition. I tried making blood shot eye balls with boiled eggs, one year, but they didn't turn out very well. So instead we have Mummy Dogs and Frightening French fries for Halloween. What a great breakfast and lunch you made for your children!! 😀

Vinegar is used for coloring Easter eggs. The kits that you buy come with tablets that dissolve in boiling water and vinegar !

For the blood shot eyes they never work for me wither so this year we used tooth pics and red food coloring to draw wiggly lines on.

Have you considered putting the waffles that are done in a warm oven to keep them warm? They make these covers for smooth top stoves that protects the stove top. It can be placed on a hot stove leaving you a cool place to place put things on. I LOVE mine.

That is super cool of you to do the Halloween theme. Breakfast and lunch for your kiddos! Wish parents had time to be able to do that for their kids, so not always the case.
But I think it's awesome that you go. The extra mile! Also a suggestion I just have to think about, but it might have been easier if you were able to wrap a hot dog last night. Or would that not have been a good idea??

I would imagine with so many teenagers and friends, there is very few leftovers.
