I am so excited to come across Bodygroove and I look forward to starting in on these routines. I am in my career and artist developer that coaches actors, voiceover artists and musical theatre vocalists/dancers. I used to be in great shape from dance but then 2 years of Covid quarantines and then a car accident that caused some leg and knee challenges have caused me to to not be as flexible. So wanting to loose about 20 lbs to get back in shape and get my flexibility back. Great fun and this kind of work out is good for anyone of any age, body shape or muscle challenges. I can go gentle with with my legs and after a few days I'm seeing bigger dips and flexibility. Nice variety of routines. So just saying .. Guys like to dance and groove too. Great fun. I will be getting a Bodygroove membership .. Affordable for anyone and great creativity. I got sadly into a habit of not getting enough cardio due to a crazy colder year in So CA and the pools, yoga classes and dance studios all closed. Many of them did not open back up. This is something I can do daily in the comfort of my own living room and get my cardio back, and doing this with my new rower and a little arm toning with weighs I should have my cut body back in no time. I also highly recommend plant based vegan living. At 55 I can honestly say I haven't had to take Western Pharmaceuticals in over 20 years, rarely get sick. My dad was overweight and hat heart issues and pre diabetic. After going plant based he dropped down to his ideal weight of 150 lbs .. I found a few Country routines (his favorite) and got him doing a bit a movement .. He is 93 . My mom was always gorgeous bod and though she had a stroke a while back she does what movement she can in her wheel chair. Like me she loves 70s disco and I haven noticed just moving her arms and upper body .. She sits straighter and has more energy. So again I think anyone can start where ever they are and get some good results. Thanks Body Groove.
Can you post some videos of people modifying these for those who have injuries and can’t be on their feet much? I saw the ads talking about grooving from the couch. I’d like inspiration on how to groove from there or a chair or even sitting on the side of the bed. I’m battling with inflammation from Haglund’s Deformity in my heel and it’s excruciatingly painful. My physical therapist doesn’t want me on my feet much right now because the Achilles tendon is so tight. I need to lose weight tho and I know working any movement in can help. Thanks!
I'm a combat medic veteran and a doctor. I am made of metal after a seriously bad landing during survival training. Try using bands in a chair. Even paraplegic can move in a chair. Talk to your doctor about antioxidants. What you're describing is also a source of chronic inflammation. Antioxidants reduce cellular damage from chronic inflammation and free radicals. The only real way to lose weight is a calorie deficit. Reduce your dietary intake to adjust to your caloric output by exercise. Good luck
