I am currently working a job that is very stressful and is really taking a toll on me. I’ve been dealing with a lot of frustration and misery be because of it. Today’s study is helping me realise I shouldn’t just sit and remain in how I’m feeling like the world does, instead I should keep remembering to give my burdens & sin to him, ask him to show me HIS perspective & trust him with my circumstance instead because he cares and I’m his child. ✝️

Amen!!! I too work in a very stressful workplace and sin and anger is rampant there it's Walmart and it is so hard most days to give it to God and let Him take control and worry about losing your job because you aren't doing your job fast enough or well enough. It's not easy to do but so much more freeing when I let God take control and do His will not man's will.
Just wanted to stop by and show love to Pastor P aka Pastor Paul. I’ve been watching his videos for the past year because I’m reading the entire Bible. I love how he teaches the Word. Will try to go out to Oregon to pay an in-person visit. ❤

To be born is to come to the light. As a child does from the womb. Come to Christ Jesus the light of the world. Be born again.
Just wanted to say. I sometimes feel so behind in faith if that makes sense. But when I look back at the type of person I was 2 years ago there is a gigantic change. So I'm blooming.
I think about my husband who isn't Christian yet but as I have started standing for him I have seen slight incremental changes in his over the past 12 months. God is working on sinners too and those who do not know him yet too. Which is exciting!

Brother, good for you for preaching 1 john chapter 3, I know some preachers who skip over this chapter, as you point out it is a warning, but not just a warning a very serious warning.
I have only known KJV bible, the language in the kjv is a bit sharper and more pointed.
Verse 9 Whosoever is born of god, doth not commit sin:, for his seed remaineth in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Now that verse in KJV is sharper than any two edged sword, and the warning is very clear and should put the fear of God into the believer, to not wilfully sin. The seed is the Holy Ghost, and as long as that seed is in you, cannot sin. This indicates anyone wilfully sinning, does not have the seed in them (the Holy Ghost) this is very serious for the born again who has received the Holy Ghost. After all ,the Holy Ghost gives us the power to overcome all evil (sin)
I believe you covered this is in a very kind and sufficient way, but not in the way as it is presented in the kjv bible. Its of great interest to me to hear the word preached from other bibles than the kjv that I know, I do enjoy hearing how various Preachers deliver the word.

😢Verse 2 is describing the spiritual reality of the believer. Jesus Christ is the second Adam who is now a life giving Spirit. Jesus says that He is the resurrection itself when He says to Mary, Lazarus's sister, I am the resurrection. We shall see Him as He is for we shall be like Him is our realization of Christ in us as Paul says it is no longer I but Christ in me and as Jesus said In that day you shall know that I am in the Father and you in me and I in you. The mystery of faith Christ in you. It is the work of God manifest in His children. We are the clay and God is the potter making us as He wills. It is a process that begins now and continues into eternity.
