Preferring not to kill an animal when you don't have to and have no need to is the mark of a truely responsible hunter who respects the ecosystem they're a part of
Nice Beaver 🦫

First time I've heard of a Sewer Beaver. Must be what the Sewer Gators feast on.
Yes. Chasing beavers is fun.
😂
Who doesn’t like a nice beaver
That little guy was doing his best to yank you down into the water! Strong little critters!!
I love that your state is offering to rehome beavers. They're a fantastic animal. Nature's engineers! And now I can watch your beaver videos! 😅
Beavers are always bigger than you think they are
I just hope the state relocation program doesn't decide to let that fella go anywhere near Post10's turf! 😂 Nice catch, man!
The ecological benefits to semi arid areas that are short on water are amazing. So many places could be made arable by beavers.
Good work. Beavers are great animals and if they can be relocated to where they are needed, they are worth way more alive than dead. Also they appreciate staying alive too so as you said, it's just wins for everyone. Beautiful and fascinating animals.
This felt like watching an episode of COPS from back in the day.
'Bad Beaver, Bad Beaver, Watcha gonna do when Joseph comes for you'.
Great program from Utah state.
I REALLY liked this video in particular; thanks for sharing this.
Love it Joe!
They had success preventing flooding in the Netherlands by widening the distance between the dikes so there was room for a floodplain. This also provides habitat for the wildlife so they don’t interfere with the canals. Also allowing the river to slow and the water to percolate so there’s more water in the land in the dry season. ua-cam.com/video/zkmJRJaPBXE/v-deo.htmlsi=4EOxjwmEz_bU4prq it’s talked about in this video.
We're in a totally different situation from the Netherlands. You can't really compare us to them at all.
@@JosephCartertheMinkMan these were ones to prevent the River Meuse from flooding a nearby town not the Dutch sea levees. If that makes a difference.
That’s awesome!
You should try to train it to hunt sticks for you
Great job 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I love this dude
Haha. Nice catch! I love that the state does this!

This video was fun and very informative! ❤🎉
Glad you liked it!!
Great video!
This is awesome!! I saw other videos with guys that clear highway/interstate flooding due to beaver dams. They have to go and clear the dams so the highways can drain.
Thanks for your community service!!
Aww where did the ferrets go? Bring back the ferrets.
Love it
Cool video!
So cool
Bober!
This was cool.
Joseph great video with the beaver keep them up awesome job
Thanks, will do!
Greetings from the BIG SKY. You've got your hand full if you get a beaver.
Beavers are very misunderstood
Bring those beavers up here to the Adirondacks northeast NY! There's beaver flows hundreds of acres and dams 100 foot long by 20 foot high!
Joe is the man !
Great content, get a flashlight 🔦 that is more throw then a hot spot.

Gosh property developers build houses in some silly places.
Will they relocate this beaver within Utah or possibly to other states?
Do you still use raptor to hunt mice?
Joseph, don't you just love a new experience ? Something else that you can put on your resume`.
Like catching beavers in a sewer
Will we see a cat in the future on the team
Give that beaver back to Wynonna.

What about catching a Dead Beaver! Now there's a one time task??🇨🇦🤣

Would you say that we as a species are also overpopulated?
I definitely believe that humans are invasive, but overpopulated is questionable because of cultures and lifestyle choices. Despite there being enough food and buildings to possibly feed and house every person, resources are not evenly distributed so that every person's needs are met humanely first and foremost. Education factors in as poor education systems allow problems to persist along with the issues caused by those who hoard resources for their own profit. Modern medicine and cleanliness is mainly what allowed humanity to grow exponentially as much fewer children die.
Yes.
5:17 He just walks like a criminal, I don’t think that living and clogging up the channel is legal.
no $$ reward from the state? they cheap bastards?
The reward is they let you touch their beaver 🦫😆
They really don't need to be controlled. Maybe if people thought about the wildlife and how they live BEFORE creating homes or towns where they know full well it can flood then it's certainly not the fault of the wildlife. Sure you love beavers, thats nice, but beavers have been around for hundreds of years before humans ever even knew they existed and now all of a sudden there is an overpopulation? Definitely not. Just like any other animal The "over population" guise is really getting old and honestly a pathetic excuse just to find whatever joy you can in hunting animals for sport. Are your intentions good? Maybe. But you're still killing wildlife that IS crucial to wherever it is naturally. Did the state think it through before putting infrastructure where beavers build their dams and can flood the plains? Obviously not because now all of a sudden you have to catch and reroute all the beavers. It's all WRONG and you know it. Just like the rats or bunnies you kill, PEOPLE create those habitats where it entices these animals and PEOPLE bring the resources that cause rapid population growth. Farms are all littered with rubbish and THAT attracts animals. This canal was built obviously to unnaturally control water yet it's PEOPLE who ignored the wildlife clearly living there. The beaver is not the problem.
Where are you located. Don't have to give exact location just state if you want. Love the work you're doing.
anyway that didnt look like a beaver, shiela she has a big beaver and hers is way hairier
