Love this series, since I lived on Warner back then and just skated all the time. Was the sober one / martial arts kid too. Didn't know he was able to be around them like that, which is really rad. Hope he does a NineClub to hear more.
As a skater, a fellow Christian, and a person, I just want to say, Respect to you and your calling, Brian.
I’m not religious at all but really admire that he’s not only religious but open about it. Stay up Brian and rip Paul tierney a scouser who moved to Huntington Beach as a young kid and recently died.
This is what makes this crew and those days special, it was not just the insane amount of talent that everyone had, the ideas the creativity but also the fuckin' characters they had....u had future drunks, future dope heads, future skate moguls, even future priest lol.
Just a dope as cat man , LEGEND.....Sumner could 100% skate man,,,,much love and RESPECT.Thankyou sir....
Love Brian he’s such a rad dude, we talk on IG about God and he’s so down to earth with everyone.
he had one of my fav parts in baker 2g
I met Brian at a signing along with Appleyard, Rowley, and i believe Chalmers for Sorry. I still have a signed Adio Poster, my brother has a signed Birdhouse deck!
Mate these are sick. Keep ‘em coming!
I didn’t start skating till 2000 and even then growing up in Tennessee “ pretty much under a rock in the skate scene “ I felt like Brian Sumner was like the underdog the UGK of the skateboarding world. Used to watch The End all the time
I really enjoyed these, thanks !
That was great, I want more, much love!!
That ruled! Soundtrack as well! Thank you
These are amazing. Really appreciate you putting these out! I grew up watching the Baker crew (even before they were on Baker officially), and really idolized them all. Got to see all these guys at the Baker2G premier in LA as well! It's good to see Brian doing well and as he said "following his calling". Always loved watching him skate, especially to the Ramones! Ali and Dustin don't look too great sadly. Hope they can prioritize health and sobriety because they are loved by many.
Protect Ali at all costs, dude seems like he's still going through it..
Good for him he kicks ass
more of this please
Big fan of Brian!!
I always forget how good Brian Sumner was.
