- QR stands for Quick Response. The image consists of square dots in a unique configuration that provides information for the user.
In education, QR Code can be used to hold URLs of online applications commonly used in the classroom, thus saving time logging in.
Each student will be provided a QR Code. When they join google classroom or another platform like Zoom, teacher will generate QR Codes and share the QR Code attendance sheet or PDF file as an assignment. Attendance information will be recorded on the Google Sheet automatically when student scans QR Code.

First of all excellent video.But my qr not showing.when i closed the google sheet and again opened it shows broken image on qr cell.after few second the broken image disappear and the cell will be blank. Plase help

Hi there I tried doing it but i have a problem can you let me know how to sought it out.
When I scan the QR code i am landing up in a Google page which says " Sorry, unable to open the file at this time .".
Also if i have to schedule multiple training program should i do all these again and again could you please help .

Regarding your error you might made mistakes in formula using multiple spaces so please watch our videos 3 to 4 times carefully and hopefully you will be successful.

You are right any one can scan and response will be recorded, to avoid this print the QR Codes and put on the wall under recording camera surveillance so nobody will be miss use.

I think you are trying to generate QR Codes in Excel sheet. QR codes will only generates in google.sheets so please watch video 4 to 5 times carefully and hopefully you will successful.

In this video 2 steps are very important 1) google forms and 2) google.sheets
You admitted that you generated QR Codes means your all steps are correct.
I think here your phone is not supporting such type of programming so I suggest please try with other phone and you will be successful. Or
Watch video 4 to 5 times carefully and you will know where doing mistakes.

i found my mistake...one letter in url Column code is wrong...thank you for your support...
First of all when open the qr link it shows server not found.
And if put image command nothing in the box specified for qr

Verify if you have generated QR code successfully
i tried it but QR code was not appearing , i double checked the codes to ensure accuracy and i couldn't see any errors but QR code was not appearing , am i missing something here?

Please follow below steps to convert as a image
1) copy the cell containing QR Code.
2) open the Manu Paste Special > Picture
3) Now you have the image of your QR code and you can export it.

It was very helpful but i have question can we use same QR repeatedly? I think once we use the QR code it says ‘you already submit the answer or filled form’.

Hi Madame! i've watched the videos several times but i can't use the goggle api qr code, however i've used another online generator and my problem is that i have a cell with just the whole name instead of 2 cells with first and last name. Maybe someone else has the same situation and can help solve it! It reads the QR code but in the google sheet responses the name doesn't appear! is it because of the spaces inside the cell name? The name have more than 1 and some have ifen, muslin names. PLS I urgently need help.
I found a way to sentence the end of the formula ..../formResponse?entry.978995259=Abass+Danaa+Neindow" but now i have another issue, I have the same names (duplicate), which means I have to create a second or third criterion associated with the name, for example a function and the company it belongs to. Every time a problem arises... but that's just it LOL... if anyone can help I'd appreciate it!

How do you export each QR code as it's own image? When you copy and paste it just copies the link.

Regarding your query, QR code values can be exported to a Microsoft Excel (.xls) or PDF file from the Advanced Reports module if you have that.
1) Navigate to Advanced reports and from Resource Reports click View Reports / Create New.
2) Select the Standard Reports tab and click Run / Edit for the QR Code Report to open the report.
3) Optionally filter the results by typing your requirements in the filter boxes under each column heading. For example, you can list only resources with an active QR code by typing ‘Yes’ in the QR Code Active? filter, or list resources for a particular group, etc.
4) Click Export to Excel or Export to PDF to export the filtered results to the file type of your choice.

When you generate the QR codes for all students, please print it student wise and place on bulletin board under camera surveillance , so that nobody can misuse the info. Or you can also save the codes in another file.
(In the excel sheet, the names are given in the column before the QR codes. Simply hide all other columns and save these two columns) or print it.

I have followed your video and adapted it slightly. I tested QR attendance with the students and everything worked fine. The timestamps showed all of the students were able to submit their attendance using QR codes though.

Regarding your query All you need to do is create a “Check-In” QR code and a separate “Check-Out” QR code, and have your employees scan one on the way into work and the other one when leaving work.
Since the check-in and check-out data is stored in spreadsheets, with each scan event tagged by employee name and time-stamped, calculating employee hours would simply be a matter of merging the two spreadsheets and extracting the start and finish times for each employee.
