I am a frugal (cheap) trials rider, I run a new rear tire for a season, Flip that rear tire and then run a second season. I do have a spare rear wheel, just in case of catastrophic failure, that has an old tire on it that was used for 2 seasons.

    Rear tire pressure?

4 psi. They do look hard on the video. I might need a better air gage.

You have way too much air in both tires….

Yeah, I was using a cheap Wal-Mart tire gauge. I've since upgraded to a Jitsie gauge and have made proper adjustments.

    Both tyres look awfully hard.

Experiment to find what actual pressure works for you. I have found the right pressure is a bit of a compromise - too hard is good for stability in turns but hurts straight line traction and vice versa. I don’t actually know how accurate my gauge is but 3 to 31/2 is good for grass, mud and roots. 4 to 5 for rocky stuff, specially if they’re sharp or needing lots of power.

@@wallygumboot7416 Yeah, after the last two comments and watching the video, I ordered a Jitsie Tire Gauge. I have been using a cheap Wal Mart gauge that probably isn't accurate at such low pressure.
