Secret of Mana is one of my favorite titles from the SNES era and features one of the most diverse soundtracks ever made, IMHO. Hiroki Kikuta mixed classic romantic orchestral music, folk (such as this track), jazz, Japanese and even Balinese music (the intense Gamelan music for the Dark Lich boss fight). I can also hear a bit of Ravel in 'What the Forest Taught Me' (check out 'Laideronnette, Empress of the Pagodas').

Oooh... it sounds so... authentic. Not only is the character of the melody presented with special beauty, but a detail like the sound of the wind at the beginning adds a special touch to the mood of the track... Your approach to rearrangement is really special and it really inspires me!
