Omg this band and individual members gives us the true quality of music that you don’t hear much on the radio. I am 70 and I have seen about every band live from Beatles to beach boys and all the bands at 69 wood stock live. I-play four instruments and realize how fabulous this group is. I have shown to friends and we left with jaw dropping feelings . Spread the word about this talent and really listen. Don’t talk over and turn it up the sound . The vocals are spine tingling and almost all their songs are better than the originals. Give this group credit they deserve!!!

I was just going through the vast catalogue of the bands videos and I realised how Chase's voice has matured over the years.
I've been in my fair share of cover bands, some of them really good, but I've never heard a cover band as good as these guys. Aside from spot on playing of their instruments, their harmonies are so locked in, so pitch perfect, so complimentary and so well blended. The thing I love the most, perhaps, is that they don't just go through the motions. Their arrangements are inspired and their vocals have a lot of emotion, something most bands that I've seen lack. Great, great band. Wish they would travel down to the Southwest...I know some great venues I could get them booked in!
On another F & F video, a commenter called them an “uncover band”. They uncover newfound revelations about the songs they play.
The harmonies come from, as any 60's girl group will tell you, the experience that growing up sing in the church choir will do for a young lady's voice.
I finally saw this one. Another "wow". F&F is so versatile vocally and instrumentally.

Chase was perfect. That woman has amazing pipes, and a beautiful sultry way about her. I can't understand why a nationally significant group has not signed her as a front woman.
Just for a bit of variety, we get a Chase and Tim duet with patented Sammie High Harmony. And, as always, it works. It really, really works. I'm never going to stop being amazed.
To add more comments. This entire band are truly an unfound treasure. They have been around for at least ten years and just keep getting better each year and yet nobody raises them to the level of recognition they deserve in the music world. Maybe they are just happy making music.
Yes they are happy just playing and singing together. Now getting 100,000 views per day instead of per year!
Not promoted by the dubious and suspicious music industry. They radiate goodness, not to speak of musical talent
I'm curious if anyone has realized that this song has never been performed even close to the original by Ed Sheeran ? What I mean is their arrangement is mind blowing. Compare them back to back. Truly amazing

Finding Foxes and Fossils one afternoon last spring was one of the few positives to come out of the Pandemic of 2020!
I've played this 500 times I bet. Well a lot of times. But it still blows me away every time.
Chase has such a beautiful voice. Everyone in the band is so talented.
This is young Chase ... She and Sammie both very talented from quite a young age. I like this duet much better than the original.
Guessing Chase is 15ish. Sammie 17ish. (And yes, I'm a big fan of these two. The other girl is bit too conceited for my liking.)

Chase has a simply amazing voice and the musicianship to know exactly how to use it.

And Tim Purcell is one of the most talented singers and Mgr/producers alive. My opinion.
It takes a very talented individual to harness the obvious talent of fairly young performers and not only draw out their talent, but do it in a way that they perform complex tunes with such confidence.
Tim could take Nashville..IMO.
Aren't y'all just bowled over when one has a solo and then, others come in right on-pitch?! That is NO easy feat and they pull it off every - single - time!!
Chase Rocks, Sammie nails the harmonies and Tim adds that extra dimension of vocals that separates this band from all others!. I also have to give kudos to the drummer, very tasty moves. ( I'm a Fossilized drummer myself ) The Bass player has to be one of the best I've ever heard. Last but certainly not least, the guitarist is so smooth and seems to play effortlessly. Love everything about this band! Foxes and Fossils Forever!!

The entire band is great. Chase is an extra-ordinary tallent. Where else could you have found a 13-14 year old girl who could sing Ed Sheran songs with power???? I wish we knew more about her training. Did she sit around and sing Baritone with her dad? Is she just an extreme natural low alto???

Yeah, I think she did some high and some low on this song. And does a great job at both!
She's a real switch from the one octave wonders who dominate so much of the industry and can barely do that one octave with lots of Autotune!
Toby is such a remarkable guitarist, of all F&F members he seems to receive the least amount of comments. But what would F&F be without him. He fits the group so perfectly. The ease in which he plays is quite astounding. This is one incredibly talented musician whose skill level is off the charts. I would like to know what effects units he uses as each song always sounds so perfect.
I second those comments. Definitely a studio quality guitar player. I think I saw something that looks like a Boss ME series multi-effect pedal in one of the videos.
He's really good for sure. Not exactly Mr Excitement on stage but his playing completely serves the song. I've always thought his tone is a little thin but that's just a matter of personal taste. And he looks like a gray Lou Reed (once you see it, it can't be unseen)

The way Chase moves with the song and provides effortless lead vocals is beyond cool. Tim's high-five at the end is confirmation of a great performance. Sammie's and Tim's additional harmonies to this Ed Sheeran song make it much deeper than the original. Outstanding!

There are outstanding tribute bands out there concentrating on one band. These guys pay outstanding tribute to every artist they cover,and they cover such a wide range of music.

I’m 78 years old. I have loved music all my life, and had my own band for many years. I listen to music every day for hours, I would say that this band and their girls are wonderful. Every song that they play and sing is absolutely wonderful. Really talented . Please keep playing your beautiful music

Gigging bands should take a lesson from this band, they got groove, pocket, vocals, and flow... not many can cover like that, naturally finding the REAL heart of the song!!!

It's amazing how good this band is. No matter what the lineup or iteration is. It's like having the Wrecking Crew on every song, even live. With great singers, often better than the original. and you all seem to love each other and enjoy playing together. I'm so glad I found this channel.

People the band is the side gig for the girls they all have real jobs all out of college and grown up but still has such great passion for the music so maybe they don't tour maybe they don't do public but damn I will take the studio work and be grateful don't want them to go away , but I would still love to see them take over the Roxy of the battery at through this park they deserve it and I believe they can fill the place up on many occasions just let the people know that they're going to be there and their fans would fill it up in a heartbeat that's my pipe dream

Wow... I have been listening to everything F&F for a couple of years, and I had never run across this one. What a treat! I did not even recognize that was Chase at first. I just thought, "Wait... That's not Maggie!". Great job as always. Interesting to realize how much Chase's voice has matured since this was recorded. I particularly liked when Chase and Sammie sung by themselves at 2:23. They sounded almost like one voice. Beautiful.

Not one of my favorites, not a fan of the song and much prefer to hear Maggie singing though Sammy too is phenomenal.
"Like Angels I tell ya". An understatement if ever there was one. The girls blend beautifully but Chase's voice is beautifully modulated, full of feeling and simply a joy to listen to. Would be fascinating to have all thre girls in the band. Shouldn't ignore the band itself, the guys are outstanding musicians in their own right and not 'just' backing musicians.

Makes my day when a new one comes along, Its been fantastic to see how they have grown since I first heard them. They had more or less given up, then people started to encourage them and now we hear regularly from them. When I first listened they had 33k or so subscribers, now they are past 110k and growing daily. I hope you have seen Chase's music too, she gets better by the day and makes slime wonderful songs,

There is not one of your song (covers) that I don't like or not listened to at least twice. There is a light freshness that makes each song sound like hearing it for the first time. Love you guys. Every member, vocalsists ,musicians and sound man. all matched to a "T"
I did not like it when Chase came on board till I listened to a few of her vocals. She is not old enough to buy property in most states but she has a voice that can steal my heart. Glad I kept listening to get past my prejudice of a new addition to the band. She is incredible

Have been binge-listening to the F&F videos this week ever since I came across their cover of "Southern Cross" and I am absolutely blown away by Chase's vocals. She has the most stunningly beautiful singing voice I've ever had the pleasure of listening to!
