      I'm a 90s kid and back then, my gran loved browsing charity shops
      She found 5 videos of the Raggy dolls (I was unaware of them, but I loved watching them!

      I'm good. Better than 3 months ago. Things have progressed for me since then. I've stopped commenting on UA-cam. Leaving the Internet alone now. Merely concentrating on getting into better shape and getting through the economic collapse which I am looking forward to.

    They did a good job teaching children about tolerance with this show back then. Nice theme song too.

      I don't think you realize just how dangerous cartoons like this really are. Do you know what happens if kids grow up thinking it's okay to be different or imperfect? They wind up never buying makeup, designer clothes, exercise equipment, and all the other things society uses to body shame the general public. And the economy collapses, people lose jobs, and all because someone thought it was a good idea to teach kids not to conform to societal beauty standards.

      @@angryman1206and why should people buy designer clothes and things if they do not want to? Why should people change who they are just because someone says so? We should be who we are, what we are, do what we want, go where we want and like/dislike what we like/dislike, plus if everyone else was jumping off a cliff would you? What is wrong with being different or imperfect anyway? I do not give a hoot about what other people think I look like, I have freinds who think I am beautiful and love me for who I am.

      @@eleanorhogan8643 Because our entire economic infrastructure is based on the principle that you are not good enough. If you don't believe that, then you don't spend money to make yourself feel like you matter. And then, revenue is lost, companies shut down, people lose their jobs, horses and pigs start having BDSM sex with each other. In short, society collapses and you only have yourself to blame because you selfishly decided that you're fine just the way you are.

    I love old cartoons like this, and it's got a lovely message, but I can't help noticing their issues...
    Back to Front is... well back to front
    Dotty is covered in paint,
    Hi-Fi stutters
    Sadsack is misshapen,
    Lucy has loose stitching
    Princess is made of the wrong material...
    And Claude... Well... erm... Claude is French.
    Surely that's not all there is to it...

    • @grimTales1
      @grimTales1 7 років тому +6

      I always wondered that too - there didn't seem to be anything wrong with Claude!
      Maybe the fact he came from another country made him an outsider?

    • @mittfh
      @mittfh 7 років тому +13

      According to Wikipedia, Claude is "a French doll, who, unlike his companions, is actually perfect in every way. He fell out of a box of dolls being shipped to France and was left behind, being put in the bin out of a lack of other places."

      If you listen to the lyrics, it talks about how they are rejected because they're different, we also get rejected because we're different from the others, thus, they are dolls like you and me.
