They were big in the U.K too. I remember 'the lady' was always poisoning people in this. Dogtainian spent half the time in bandages, it could be more extreme than cartoons now. An animated Game of Thrones, set in France.
My mum had kept all the vhs tapes from when I was a nipper and I played one for my 7yr old boy. He told me it was rubbish and walked out of the room.its a shame really as they are brought up around crap nowadays. Dogtanion was one of many awesome cartoons back in the day.

when? when did anyone ask?
This song stucked in my head suddenly after 16 years so many memories... I still have the cassete :')
Lol the lyrics of a kids' cartoon actually mention the heroes drinking beer! It couldn't happen today
My mum banned me from watching it because in the song it says the Muskehounds drink beer and swear.
swear they are faithful to there king is the line
OldSchoolRasslin oh no you missed out on a classic because of a misheard lyric!!!??? That's a shame and also hilarious at the same time!
what about cobra zero or. Bavaria zero
OldSchoolRasslin
So, fights with swords and guns are ok, but God forbid you hear about anthropomorphic dogs drinking beer.
I turn 40 this year and watched this for the first time when I was 4 ...I still know the words off by heart.
My mum and my aunt watched this when they were little, and I watched this when I was little... A wonderfully timeless cartoon in my opinion

In Spain, the country origin of this series, title was Dartacan y los tres mosqueperros.... Translate was Dartadog and the tree dogkeeters
Ahhh that's how you spell it? 😳
'They drink their beer and swear they're faithful to their King' o__O
Lol
Yeah. Don't think they'd run this on Nick today.
i still do that.
