Awesome, thanks for posting this one, I wish I could have seen this live on TV, can't get that feed up here in Canada, I put a couple short ones on here from St Cloud, Front Row, I was :)
This song reminds me of when my boyfriend was working in tennessee and we live in michigan, so it was hard :( so glad he doesn't have to do that anymore :)
Country music isn't big in the UK mainly because it's usually depressing or cheesy, but I really like this song and Leave The Pieces...looking forward to finding some more good stuff like this!
@mapletreewizard: IMO one of the major differences between country music over the past 20 or 25 years and the country that came before it is the subject matter. Although you will still get some songs that cover the stereotypical dysfunctional territory---drinking, domestic strife and abuse, drinking, going to prison, drinking and drinking---there is a lot more of what some call "Americana" or "roots music". This song by The Wreckers is a great example of this sort of music. You will still hear caterwauling from the old country purists, but I don't think they will carry the day in the end. If you like The Wreckers, I would suggest you check out Little Big Town and Rascal Flatts, though the latter band is a bit too far over into pop for my taste.
Jessica's voice is so simple and beautiful--it is really too bad that Nasville has her singing crap like "boy like me". When they let "artists" write their own songs again we will again have substance in country music.
Surprsingly, this is pretty country with no strong rock or any other genres. Lol somewhat boring but love it. Michelle did a pretty good job of keeping country and pop rock balanced separately
@JoshVol182 I don't know... 'Tennessee Waltz' is tough to beat. I'm proud though that there are so many songs about our state that we can have this debate!
yea i just discovered michelle and jessica's music a few days ago. I like their stuff and i dont like country music other than keith urban. does anyone know if they are gonna make music together again?
Yea, I'm "american," born and bred, grew up in the south and appreciate a healthy portion of authentic "country" music; I'm rather bored with the hillbilly "thang."
Boy these two voices together are like heaven! Great band! Perfection! Everysong was a hit! Really had it together ❤
I'm 63 and it's May 2010 and I have just discovered the Wreckers. Why only now. They are making me shiver with pleasure. Brilliant.
They are both so incredibly beautiful and talented, I've worn out this CD!! Wish they could have done a hundred more together...so amazing!

Watching Branch jamming on a Gibson SG, I keep expecting her to break into Paranoid or Mob Rules.

I didn't recognize Jessica with dark hair! But they sound great.
Sadly as a guy I know far to many women that can relate to you and this song. Easier to spice up a good guy then to tame a joker.
