@@JackpodyDK Well, it rarely ran, and when it did, it was only at half capacity, despite full capacity already being super low. For a long time, it's been a maintenance nightmare and the park has decided it's not worth fighting for anymore, because it's slowly become a battle they can't win. They pretty much had no choice. It still stands and is planned for removal in the next few months. (I know an employee of the park who told me about it)
I was going to Tivoli Gardens in december (we had no choice, time to deal with long queues) with a friend who is a thrillseeker, wonder what he is gonna say to this...
I'm from Scotland. Loved Copenhagen and loved Tivoli. It was really nice revisiting all the rides so thanks for this video. Great place and lovely people. Itching to go back.
Den Flyvende Kuffert does have some of the feel of It’s a Small World, but of course it also has its own theme of the Hans Christian Andersen stories, so it feels original, unlike several It’s a Small World rip-off rides I’ve seen now and then. I really enjoyed it and rode it more than once!
This takes me back. I came here to visit my uncle when I was maybe 5, so around 97/98 maybe? I remember a ride that I guess is no longer there, Odin's hall maybe? It was a spinning table I think but I remember two mechanical ravens talking to you in the que line. Also, funhouse is incredible for kids. Probably my most vivid early memory is from there.
Very nice. Also The little dragon is actually the old little flyer ride. Exact same one, all the way back from 1970, just with some updated theming. Doesn't look at nice as the old theming though ngl. and also The Music carousel is a weird one since it used to be a seasonal ride, only coming in for Halloween and Christmas, but now it's permanent. Also I know this is gonna sound weird but, I actually find Tik Tak to be milder than the Huss Breakdancer it replaced! Snurretoppen, that breakdancer was one of my all time favorites when it was still around. The insane feeling of almost a car crash with the fast turnarounds and the feeling of potentially flying off it all, it was insane, and I've sadly never found another breakdance with the same intense feeling. Tik Tak however, kinda tame by comparison as weird as it sounds. Especially if you don't mind swinging forwards and backwards a bit.
Personally, I have Snurretoppen at the very bottom of my flat ride ranking, but that's because it made me throw up three times after my one and only ride 😂 And that's why I don't ride Tik Tak. Snurretoppen's movements are exactly the kinds of moves that my stomach is weak to
The motions are very different. Tik Tak constantly yanks you back and forth and side to side while spinning, but Vertigo's spinning is severely different
It's rare indeed! 😂 Especially during Fall and Winter. It's just 6 months of sad November weather basically. But we do have beautiful Summers. Just check out my Tivoli vlog from June 😘
I'm glad to hear! :) The reason I say so is because I know a few people that can ride literally anything as much as they want without problems, but for some reason, Monsunen always gets them
R.I.P. Vertigo; operated through 2020 and has now been announced to close forever. We might've just lost the world's best flat ride
Whaat! Why are they closing it? I can't seem to find any information on this, other than it's closing!

@@NorthernRidesYaBoi Thank you for the response! I definitely noticed that it didn't run at all my visits, so it makes good sense. Thank you!

I'm glad you had a good time!
That was really enjoyable. Thank you a heap for doing that, even reviewing the kid rides. Really nice.

So nice - love the video 🤩🤩

Perfect presentation
I once went on Vertigo 10 times in a row during late evening with my friends. It was so much fun 😂
Sounds insane!
Haha one of my earliest memories is the dragon from the mine ride scaring the crap out of me.

I’m gonna go to Tivoli to day😁
Enjoy! :)

I could hear my own scream in the demon-😭
Amazing video

@@NorthernRidesYaBoi Ouch! Sorry pal.
very nice vlog 👌🏻👍shooted and elaborated very well
kindly name which rides are allowed for 4 yr kids
There's not much with age. It's about how tall they are.
You can see the requirements on tivoli.dk :)
okay 👍 thank you so much 😊 your vlogs are always entertaining and guiding

How do you get nausea from Tik Tak but not on vertigo

I've never gotten nauseous by Monsunen lol. As so it makes the ride quite fun imo
I envy you, cause I think it's a really fun ride
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi Yeah, but Vertigo is definitely the best without a doubt!
@@blockycoasters Agreed
I'm afraid of Verdigo. But Monsunen just ain't that scary.
Is the sky ever blue in Denmark? I don’t think I’ve ever seen footage from Denmark with blue skies lol 😂

what about the spinning tops where are they
I'm afraid Tik Tak replaced the Spinning Tops :/
I loved Minen. But I’m not a big fan of shooting rides, and so we just put the guns down and enjoyed it.
I like to do that, as well. I've also discovered it's perfect for having long, deep and personal talks with close friends or others
Northern Rides Now that sounds like an intense ride! 😆
Thanks for the video - I enjoyed it a lot.

Thanks for watching!
And no, I didn't fuck anyone in Minen 😂
mine vas my fisrs shoting dark ride but ony one gun in the boat workt. it is still a fun ride tho
My and my hole family don't get nauseous when we ride Monsunen. And we don't have that hard stomachs. So i don't know what you're talking about.
I'm glad to hear! :)
The reason I say so is because I know a few people that can ride literally anything as much as they want without problems, but for some reason, Monsunen always gets them
Fata Morgana is the name of a sorceress in Arthurian lore. She’s King Arthur’s sister.
Her name is Morgan or Morgana, and Fata means ‘faerie,’ indicating her magical powers.
Thank you, never knew!
i am going to tivoli today
Have a great time!
The vertigo is so fuckin fun
It really was awesome!
Unfortunately it is now closed forever, but it will be missed dearly
Fata Morgana. Morgan le Fey. The fairy named Morgana.
I miss Odinexpressen. It was my favourite roller coaster in the entire park :(
It was definitely a classic. Shame it wasn't announced in good time
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi It used to be my favourite. But now I have other favourites. (Like Dæmonen and Monsunen)
Was to tired to go on rutchebanen
Sorry to hear... It's definitely their star attraction
I personally tought monsoon was kinda boring to be honest
Not the most exciting ride, no. But it certainly brings some longtitude forces!
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi yeah its definitely not as intense as tik tak but its pretty cool with the fountains
Im from denmark
Awesome!
I went to tivoli
I hope you enjoyed your visit
When did you go?
Music By Allona like in 2019 at Christmas
Northern Rides thank you! It was very fun!
And I got on every single ride
My mom throw up in caravanen that time.
I'm sorry to hear that. Guess coasters aren't for everyone :(

god it's weird seeing people not wearing masks.
We actually just dropped that rule, so it looks like this again
