Yes, it was good to get Roger back in the garden. Luckily, it was an easy build, so it was very satisfying. I just hope the birds will use it. The hoodie is a nice warm one. Maybe time sausages hat and gloves are needed in this weather.
It's just so cold, I do hope we will get better weather this year it was so wet last year. Stu was wearing his, so Roger had to freeze in his jumper. Good job, he doesn't feel the cold.
Just bought myself one this morning. Installed and waiting for visitors :) I live in a built up area and only really see pigeons & seagulls. Hopefully this will attract some smaller birds to my garden. It was only £10 plus £4 for 2 (albeit low quality plastic) feeders with food so not a disaster if no one uses it.
That's great. Mine started off with pigeons and crows, now it has starlings, wagtails, and lots of the smaller birds. I think when they see the bigger birds feeding, they get confident to visit as well.
It is so cold, I haven't wanted to do anything in the garden. I have never done the big bird watch before, but this would be a good reason to do it. Have you done it previously?
If you go 4.20 into the video this is where I attach the bracket onto the Bird Feeding Station, they sort of twist into position. They are quite sturdy once attached but can easily be taken off again.

I like this feeding station .
It's working well so far, I couldn't believe how quickly the birds started using it. It's so lovely to see the different varieties as well.

I wish he would help out a bit more, but he does have a good wardrobe of clothing.
