The Universal Monsters were so classic. If only Universal could successfully recreate their original magic

I always wished universal would just have a great outline for all these universal classic monsters. They should also rely on Practical effects and yes use Visual Effects when necessary.

I am most excited for the Phantom of the Opera who will be in this universe.
I know he's not part of the universal Monster Series but the Headless Horseman would be phenomenal in a Sleepy Hollow adaptation I believe he's in the public domain someone suggest this to Universal ASAP

A lot of people don't like lugosi's frankenstein, but I think he did a great job.

Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein is the best Monster Mash Up movie ever. It's better than the previous 2 monster mash ups. It gave us the best looking Glenn Strange as the Monster, the one and only Bela Lugosi as the one true Dracula, and Lon Chaney as The Wolfman in a slightly different, but still familiar makeup, all with more total screen time than both House of... movies combined.

Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney also played their Characters again in an episode of the TV Series Route 66 called Lizards Leg & Owlet's Wing.

@@queenglamazona8789 That's right. That's probably the only episode that people don't watch Route 66, watch.

Sorry, Universal, you failed again with “The Mummy” at attempting to launch a shared universe. You need to build a shared universe gradually by starting with standalone movies and focus on the movies themselves.

Yeah, that's a problem with most failed cinematic universes, they try to throw too many things at audience at once, instead of actually focusing on making the damn movie good.

@black lantern 2014 because the creators of the cinematic universe at Universal are all dead and now the current people in charge have no idea how to do it.

@1:19 You've used the wrong photo of Dracula. That's not Bela Lugosi but Carlos Villarias from the Spanish language version.

They really shafted Dracula in the crossover movies. He doesn't even have scenes with any of the other monsters in either of them.

You forgot "Dracula Untold" It was another attempt to reboot Universal Monsters.
I just can't understand why "The Wolfman" remake got so much hate. It was a take on the classic Gothic Wolfman. It is one of my favorite films

To be frankly honest with you, when the Wolfman remake came out, I wasn't a big fan, except for being a big fan of Rick Baker!!! Especially considering that he makes a guest appearance in the movie, as one of the town villagers, hunting the Wolfman!!! And, that's because like everyone else, I felt like a universal classic, such as, Lon Chaney's, Larry Talbot/Wolfman character, should never be touched!!! But, I was wrong and after watching the remake multiple times on comcast, I am a Big Fan of this movie, and Mr. Benicio Del Toro, as well as, the other cast mates, has done an Awesomely, very amazing job!!! And, I hope that they will do a follow up sequel, too the remake, by making the police detective a immortal master wolf character by bringing the story update, in modern day England

If Robert De Niro and Kenneth Branagh couldn't bring back Frankenstein maybe we should let them rest in peace and watch the original movies

You know what would have been a cool theory if Imhotep hadn't crumbled at the end of the Mummy? Well, there could be a connection to Frankenstein. Maybe one of the graves that they rob near the beginning is Imhotep. He could have been buried in a sacred christian grave, and they use the head on the monster.
