I am final year MBBS student and I will be going for clinical electives before internship. I contacted a few agencies and they have promised to help me with the VISA. But what do you think about the VISA process? Will going through an agency help?

You don't need agency if you do apply for b1 Visa before completion of MBBS because you will come back for sure to complete MBBS
