His hair is the spur's colors lol
I wander how he was able to get the spurs color sequence right with hair dyes
Jacob Maldonado 😂😂😂😂😂
True dedication to the franchise
Jacob Maldonado Right...
Obviously trying to make him look like the old distinguished gentleman and it’s obviously being done unnaturally.
That's loyalty 😂
Duncan bout to pull up with Jean shorts, and strap on sandals
RJTeamm w😭😭😂
And some assless chaps.
RJTeamm 😭😂😂😂
Hopefully not with socks lol
BIRKENSTOCK AFICIONADO.. LOL
The city of San Antonio better make a statue of Tim duncan and put it at the entrance of the AT&T stat!!!!
Fo sho
Word
They haven’t already?!
They are waiting for enough gold to be delivered!
Facts
He never cared for his image.. Never complain... Never team hop..Took a pay cut to stay on spurs..Still got 5 rings... Legend💯💯
I remember him holding Rasheed Wallace to just 4 pts one game, then Wake Forrest with Tim and Childress upset Stackhouse and Wallace in the ACC Tournament.
Dude had a 26-point, 20-rebound game in a win against Florida State as a sophomore, 10 double-doubles as he averaged 17.6 points and 15 rebounds per game .
I was like "wouldn't it be great if by some miracle we got him in The draft ...probably not gonna happen..💭 🎯
🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🐐 The greatest power forward to play the game
Dude might actually be the greatest teammate of all time. As selfless as they come
Timmy’s midlife crisis has actually given him more style than before lol
he looks like a cool uncle now lol. he looks a lot more relaxed and chilled out
He got divorced (and allegedly) started smoking weed. LMFAOO!
Alex Perez fr???
He was dressing better since his divorce years ago
He realised that his style was garbage when he was playing😅
This may legitimately be the longest Duncan interview in his entire career
Road Trippin with RJ and Channing. Look up the Tim Duncan episode. They did like 45 minutes just because they wanted to go longer than all of the Tim interviews of his career combined. Great interview. Tim is such a funny dude.
zachwhitlow4 and boring 🥱
Nah I think his "Boris Diaw" interview was longer!
@M Bro i love football but people like you are just annoying. Let everyone enjoy life.
Aaron Masivi Exactly
Considering Duncan’s list of accolades he isn’t talked about nearly enough as an all timer.
Literally everyone and their mom has him top 10.
Just about everyone has him in their top 5 all time.
5th all time for me
@@blackeesh463 Casuals don't
I don’t think anyone that watches basketball who doesn’t consider him the greatest PF of all time. Him Lebron and MJ are the only three who for the most part are seen as the best to ever do it. Arguing centers is too much meanwhile Magic is arguably the best PG but debatable
Man dying breed. Loyal guy, just hoops, never gets involved in controversy, greatest teammate ever in addition to greatest PF ever. I'm so proud to be a Spurs fan.
100% class
He the most Humblest basketball player I've ever seen..that's what makes him Great
chaz goodwin the most humble*
As far as the most humble I'd say it's between Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard. (Who oddly enough were teammates) Kawhi just hasn't reached Timmy's accolades yet.
@@MLD2G Kawhi isn't humble, just private. There's a big difference between the two. Look into some of the demands Kawhi made to teams in order to sign with them and tell me if Timmy would've ever given the Spurs that kind of trouble.
Dirk?
David Robinson is. Timmy is a close second.
Took a pay cut, never cared for his image despite being the greatest PF ever. The one humble legend
HUMILITY in Tim's gameplay since the beginning in his career . He deserved this kind of appreciation. Good job TD. 1 of a kind!
Joefrey Pulido nah Jordan never show humility he was a killer just like Kobe
@@alfredoalcantar8691 but in him he doesn't have to have a killer attitude to place in HOF. Just Humility my friend.. He stay Low, and he was lifted Up.. 😊
Fell in love with the Spurs because of him and now I'm a Spur for life...
That's awesome to hear
Ok but know they suck now expect it to be garbage.
NOBEL him and ginobili
@@alfredoalcantar8691 True fans never abandon ship... My Spurs will rise again!
Me too. I'm brazilian and I'm a Spurs fan because of him. Tim's simplicity inspires me.
Tim duncan has 5 rings that he won while playing in 3 different eras, 2 mvps that were back to back and 3 final mvp's while staying out of trouble his whole career. This man is the greatest power foward ever and is guaranteed in the top 10 of all time. He may be underrated but i'm just glad he had a perfect career. Well deserved HOF along with the legend Kobe Bryant. Two legends from the 2000s.
And he only has had 2 technical fouls
Yep! Great PF of all time no doubt probably my 4th fav player too
TD is the best players of the 2000s as well.
So humble. Even on his Hall of Fame induction he's still giving credit to his teammates and praising his draft class 💪🏾👊🏾
I'm surprised he has air pods. Figured he would be on a flip phone during this interview
His wife prolly took his flip phone in the settlement.
@Stonewall Jackson The flips with the lil pull out antenna.
It wasn’t his AirPods, he borrowed them because he didn’t bring his own
@@chiggsytube you’re foul🤣🤣
Flip phone generous they probably gave him those airpods
A silent killer that no one hardly talk about job well done Tim Duncan 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tim played with such class and pure fundamentals. I remember being a kid sitting in front of the TV watching him play at Wake Forest. He was always destined to be a HOF. WELL DESERVED TIM
Remember him at Wake Forest, too. It was clear from freshman year that he was special. Wild that he did 4 years there. Could've easily come out earlier.
I too remember watching him at WF, where Randolph Childress was his teammate. I miss those days.
Tim Duncan lookin like Ed Reed when he retired but I bet they both can still play???👀
I really admire Tim Duncan, he isn't fluff, he wasn't trying to impress people, he just stayed focus on winning championships. He was a true team player, very humbled. We lack that in today's NBA, but don't get me going down that rabbit hole.
They can both still destroy the average Joe no doubt... but professionally, nah fam.
B Dog yeah he was garbage but he’s still the best at his position ever
@B Dog Wasn't that the season him and Ray Lewis won the chip though?
j jones Tim Duncan was the reason the organization flourished the way it did
We need more players like this person, Tim Duncan!
The league would be very boring if that happened. Allowing players to display their individuality makes for great entertainment.
No it should not people are different for a reason I love Tim he’s great but he’s not the most entertaining guy if I was to meet only thing I could say is wussup me duncan that’s it I couldn’t see my self having a full blown conversation with him now Kobe that’s different
He is for sure one of the top 10 player of all time. Hands down the best power forward ever. Perfect career he is a winner.
i'll put him over shaq. shaq is a beast but overall career timmy is the guy
Honestly a debate between Karl malone and Tim duncan. Still a top 5 power forward of all time without a doubt.
Top 5 all time if you think of consistency never missed playoffs
Shaq fans dont hate on me dont argue with by saying timmy got a better team, well shaq got 2 legendary coach played with 2 of the best SG in the history of the game duncans nobody knew ginobili and parker until they started winning
Tactix88 eh. Malone was great in the playoffs too. Almost carried the Jazz in Game 6 against the Bulls. It was actually Stockton who missed the big shot. Just ran into a goat.
Tim Duncan been My Role Since Childhood, Last Time I Cried is When Duncan Won The Championship in 2014, Very Happy Duncan is a Hall of Famer
the greatest Spur of all time.
He is the Spurs.
Greatest PF of all time too
5 Rings, 3 FMVP, in 3 different decades. It’ll be difficult to surpass that alone.
Literally built the Spurs too
greatest pf of all time
people keep leaving him out of top 10 conversations, I think he should be in there
He is 100% there. Should be top 5 easily.
He's the greatest PF of all time
Top Ten? Top 5..
He’s a center. 7 ft 260lbs isn’t a power forward.he only played pf with Robinson. He’s a center. Stop that
He is top ten for sure. But there is no top five because everyone has his own tip five. As for top ten, it's bill Kareem magic bird Jordan olajuwon shaq Duncan Kobe lebron
I have been a huge fan of his since he first came into the league. He was a stoic, hard-working player that played the game the right way. Congrats.
From a Lakers fan, congrats big man. You were definitely on a class of your own. Duncan made Kobe a better player each time they played one another because the Spurs brought it everyday and Kobe wasn't having it. We should all be seeing Kobe's HOF interview too but he's having his in Heaven. Who's giving the interview tho? So many greats up there. Also, Duncan came soooo close to a 6th title but Ray Allen's shot.....Duncan, you have my respect. The Spurs were that team that gave me so many gray hairs at a young age.
He honestly was my hero growing up in San Antonio
As a Spurs fan I will forever be grateful to this guy to experience his greatness. Thanks you Mr fundamental 🙏
The greatest power forward ever!!!!
No debate...
He was a center. 7’0 260-270 isn’t a power forward. Only played pf with Robinson. He’s the 2nd greatest center behind Hakeem

@@babyj5566 he only played center later in his years and especially when Aldridge came in. He is also listed at 6'11" not 7'. Fabricio Oberto and Tiago Splitter never played power foward when they played with Duncan.
And as much as I love Hakeem, I'll pick Duncan over Hakeem, easily.
@@migol1984 yeah he’s 6 11 and listed mainly as a power forward
TD has probably the greatest career of any nba legend in history man I miss him
Facts. And to think he goes 6-0 without that ray Allen clutch dagger
Kareem and bill would like a word with you
El Dio as a Spurs fan I don’t think we wouldve gone back to the finals in 2014 if we won in 2013. Spurs were on a mission to get revenge after losing like that they just weren’t gonna let anyone beat them in 2014
4th Genna that spurs team is not the same with TD. Just look at Tim Duncan’s performances in the playoffs and the finals. He could’ve gotten a quadruple double one game in the finals. Not to mention unstoppable from inside and extremely clutch. A leader for those spurs teams. Even in his older year he was still schooling players. His game is unstoppable That’s greatness.
In terms of having the “perfect” career I think that goes to Bill Russell
I remember watching him Win us a Championship in 1999 it was a Great Year 🙏
I was a big D Robinson and spurs fan before T Duncan got there and when I seen how the big fundamental came in the nba and became one of the best power forward in the league I seen everything T Duncan did in the nba plus more he deserve HOF and will most definitely go down as one of the best players
Fellow Virgin Islander and basketball "Lifer" so proud of TD and all V.I. massive that lead the way and those following in his path. A true inspiration and leader! Yeah, Meh'son!!!!

The unsung hero. The Humble King. The 5x Champion, TD.
Top 5 player of all time. Would have been 6-0 in the Finals and in the GOAT conversation for everyone had Pop kept him in the game to get the rebound
Jalen Rose if Ginobili also got the right call when he drove it to the basket. But refs are Miami biased.
That was costly. I'm glad it didn't break their relationship.
Top 3 player alltime, with MJ and Kareem, he's 2nd or 3rd.
No he wasn't he would have been 6-0 n the finals n only spurs fans would have said he was n goat talk nobody else would have said that stop it

My guy aged 50 years after retirement, guess he needs that sage look if he's to take over as coach one day.
FearDotComm right 😂 gotta look wise asf or else you’ll end up like Luke Walton - Tyron Lue
Mc Reacts but what about brad stevens
ikon ಠ_ಠ Brad Stevens and Nick nurse and Eric Spolestra is an exception tho cuz they been coaching or been with a team for long time before becoming the HC. So they very established

TD is a legend, so happy to have watched him play.
Timmy was so good...I thought as a rookie he was MVP as a rookie
Dywane Carter he has actually has a case for the best rookie season ever he was that good already
He was really close I believe karl malone won MVP Duncan's rookie season they lost to them in the 1998 western conference finals!
He wasn't quite good enough to be MVP, but he did make first team All-NBA. The last rookie to do that before him was Bird in 1980.
TD was definitely one of those cases of classic eras, with some great players/bigs earning MVPs even in their rookie season.
I swear air pods are the most expensive thing I've seen Tim Duncan have on him
I'm sure Tim Duncan kept his hair short all these years to be aerodynamic💯💯
Ur so admirable Tim. What a successful career u had..
In my honest opinion he’s the best in this year’s class by a good length. Whatever stats you check, whatever accomplishments you favor he’s objectively ahead. He’s the personification of selflessness, class, and winning. He’s easily T-10 but you could honestly make a case for T-5...says a lot for a PF.
If he was a Laker ppl would say hes the greatest player of all time
FACTS!!!
Nope.
And think of how many he would have if he had shaq or wade
With Kobe Duncan would have won 10. Both players had work ethic.
Shaq was super talented but didn't work as hard to stay in shape.
Shaq spent the last years of his career overweight and injured.
Jordan.
NEVER missed the playoffs! ~~MY FAV!~~
Was never a Duncan fan but I recognize greatness. Congrats sir...you’ve def earned it
I've never loved someone that I've never met as much as I love this man!!!! Thank you Timmy for everything you do on and off the court!
The 8 dislikes gotta be people who really don’t know basketball you don’t just randomly dislike a player who’s won five rings with the same team for 19 years.
Top 10 all time and have now become the most underrated player of all time. Everyone say lebron is in goat conversation well duncan is 2-1 against lebron and should be 3-0 if not for ray allen. Respect
sean24833 Basketball is a team sport. IMO the spurs was a WAY better team than the heat. Not only did they have the players but the way they worked together like a well oiled machine. We’ll never see that style of basketball ever again, and tim duncan was not only blessed to be a part of that team, but also be the center piece that made it function. In short definitely top ten but I feel the 2-1 argument is more team based.
Duncan missed a layup that was child's play at the end of game 6. That also cost SA the championship in 2013: he choked.
Big time. At least by the standards that other greats are held to.
Amen! Glad someone else agrees he is top 10. An underrated legend.
Don't ever compare tim shitcan to legoat
Exactly but of course LeBron fanboys would never admit that...I put Duncan over LeBron 🤷
He deserves it and this a heat fan writing ✍️ this congratulations we had great battles !!!!!!!!

NBA players now should learn a lot from Tim Duncan, he stayed loyal to a small market team and gave that team multiple championships, off- course he did it with the help of Tony Parker, Manu and kawhi but to play with a small market team for 19 seasons needs a lot of patience and sacrifice, it can be done only by someone who loves basketball a lot.
This is something today's NBA players need to learn and by doing so NBA could become more interesting to watch, now it looks like small market teams have no chance to win it all.

The only player I can say that has been perfect since day one. I'm convinced he pisses Champagne
I know he started late in basketball but I love how he still added how staying all 4 years in college helped him mature in all aspects.
These upcoming college kids who actually want to be great, a winner, a true leader, a champion & a future h.o.f, need to take that into consideration.
There are a lot of good players & stars but their maturity level is weak. It's why they're so quick to jump ship to another team instead of sticking it out. They dont know how to grind as a true star & leader to become greater. Their mentality is, I'm get my numbers in college, we lose, I'm bouncing to nba to get my millions, I lose there, im jump to a super team in 2-3 years & get paid. Which is why the nba sucks now.
Speedy of the North
Lmao! They taking that ‘’$$$’’ into consideration!
To be wise one must look at everything involved i think its more to it than what meets the eye.
He probably would have gone #1 ahead of Iverson if he had declared for the draft in his junior year, but decided to stay in college to finish his degree. That meant he left money on the table right from the beginning. It was never about money or numbers for him.
Kobe, Tim and KG. 3 Players that defined an NBA Generation.
Tim Duncan was my favorite to watch when i was younger. Congrats bro.

I only wish when we met him that phones had cameras...unfortunately it was in the late 90s and we had no camera access at our fingertips at all times. So I got his autograph and got to chat with him for the first half of a wake forest football game. That is a memory I'll never forget! To see him be accepted into the hof is amazing, couldn't think of anyone who deserves it more.❤

@TheRealist 811 Notice I said MOST. Wade and Bosh were on the downsides of both their careers when they teamed up with LeBron. LeBron still was required to do a lot of heavy lifting to get the Heat over the hump for those 2 titles. Then he had a great statistical Finals in 2014 and both Wade and Bosh were played out at that point. And what about Cleveland? That scrub team he carried in 2007, then he didn't even have Love or Irving in the 2015 Finals and still stoles 2 games off the mighty Warriors, then even in 2016, Love played awful in that Finals series and LeBron had to put up B2B 41-point games and a triple double in Game 7 just to barely beat the Warriors, then without Kyrie in 2018, he still dragged a bunch of scrubs to the Finals in 2018. EDIT: Also, the East wasn't weak during the time LeBron was in Miami. The first 2 years of the Heat's run, the Celtics Big 3 was still viable and also Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls were tough and also the last 2 years, the Indiana Pacers were a top team that gave the Heat trouble.
Hakeem is the greatest big man of all time so that makes Duncan the 2nd..
