Just recently grabbed the Mavic 3 Classic. Love the cleanliness of the shadows on these clips.
It’s an awesome drone, especially for low light.
It’s a no brainer that the Mavic 3 is the best drone on the market.
I don’t find the need to color grade at all.
The Zoom is insane.
The complainers just can’t afford the Mavic 3 and I get that.

Exactly. A couple of guys that accused me a while ago from having DJI assets or working for DJI messaged me that they were wrong. They love the Mavic 3 and dont understand why people are complaining. They dont follow the posts in the Mavic 3 group anymore 😂😂
The people doing the most complaining are from people who own one. Your point is moot.

Thanks bro. I was thinking of you as I was editing my day shots. I shot the day video in DLOG and wow this thing is so flat! It’s very hard to get it back to Rec 709 and over exposing by 1 stop doesn’t help. Also, the native iso of 400 is also something to keep in mind.

I plan on making a video with some noise reduction processed and some learnings I had in regards to shooting in LOG.

Awesome video! Serious question here, what do I have to do to get around the New York Class B Airspace Hudson River Special Flight Rules Area that appears to cover every inch of river around Manhattan? Without Remote ID in effect yet how do I Self Announce on the same frequency listed on the TAC charts etc. So much red tape every time I start to do the research. I have my 107 and have gotten authorized in Boston and Portland's restricted airspace even in Zero Grids but the option to request authorization or process any sort of request is totally absent when I drop a pin anywhere near there.

@@Donadoney That's pretty much the answer that I was resolved to, I was just attempting to get Eddie Nunez to divulge a secret or just admit that he was flying rogue. The way I see it if you're going to go against FAA and local regulations, own that shit, state it and prove what an OG he really is.

I don't believe that he will answer so I will try. I am a FAA Part 107 certificate holder and with all the research that I've done (tons) the answer is absolutely NO. Apparently he is lucky that the "Karen" he referred to in the video didn't just call the cops.

Battery is insanely good! Huge difference from any of the other DJI drones out there now.
Are you allowed to fly in Brooklyn but not Manhattan? Not trying to play drone police, I am really just curious because I would love to get drone shots of NYC but I heard they have strict drone laws.
There are loads of flight restrictions in NYC so totally risky and to be clear no authorization to fly any drone over the river and bridges can't be acquired without an impressive amount of work money paid so not likely to ever be done legally unless it's a major production studio etc. No one is going to go through all that work and cost for a recreational drone video. Emergency and tour helicopters are the only aircraft that have authorization to fly over the rivers around Manhattan.
According to NYC311 flying drones in NYC is illegal and they advise calling 911 to report drone use! Wow!
We flew this same spot with DJI for the Mavic 2 event. There is a small window where you can fly legally. The guys that live there have been dealing with these restrictions and finding the openings for a long time.
@@OriginaldoBo Good to know, but it's been several years since that and it's possible that things may have changed some. Despite not living there, I have been several times and done tons of research since early 2020 all leading up to the same answer. No Drones in NYC as well as the clearly marked in red zone on Aloft and other LAANC providers that covers all the river area surrounding Manhattan. There isn't even the ability to request any authorization. When you stated "small window" you said "where" but to clarify did you mean in time or space? Also seems kind of odd that there could be some "small windows" but NYC Police say to call 911 immediately to report "any" drone use in the city. BTW thanks man, your channels sic. I appreciate the great info.
@@seanw.oconnellphotographyd1116 where he flew there are small windows. That red isn’t always there either. NYC airspace is like a timeshare, if you see no red you just send it. Last thing they want is unexpected attention.
Why is the American flag at half mast?
Because we were still at dusk during the time I film this. It goes up after complete sunrise

To the drones benefit, I didn’t process any noise reduction on this, and if you think about the camera logistically, any micro 4/3rd camera will also face noise issues as you start to increase ISO.
The only thing DJI could have done is have some sort of noise reduction process happening as you film; but I actually prefer the flexibility of having this as an option in post.

@@MrEddieNunez It shouldn't have to use noise reduction, I have seen 1 inc h sensors and 4/3 , not use them, and look great. For me it's no excuse. dji has had almost 4 years to perfect this from the m2p, and haven't got it right. I had the Phantom 4 pro, the inspire 2 ,and the evo 2 pro, the Phantom had less noise. in the sky and the evo 2pro and inspire 2 ,noise was barely noticeable, and noise reduction wasn't
required, with the right setting, even in auto it wasn't. If dji would have
used built in noise reduction it would have been, better. I'm the kind ,who doesn't use it in post , or other third party software, it's a waste of time and money.
