There’s a documentary short (18 min) produced by BH on their channel called BTS ‘ON’ Commentary Film: Dialogue. It’s really good actually, you’ll see one aspect of the recording process of ON’s instrumentals and the gospel choir in LA. There’s even a little behind the scenes footage of BTS in 2014 in LA.

They performed this in grand central station on the Jimmy Fallon show. Their stamina is simply amazing.

@@Killdeer25 Yes, you do! I was going to suggest that too. They pretty much shut the place down to perform there Live. There is also a behind the scenes (probably Bangtan Bomb on BANGTAN TV channel for it too). This was filmed outside LA and they used part of UCLA Marching Band and a gospel choir in this as well. Early 2020, and then you know what hit. They didn't get to perform it in concert until November 2021 in LA and then in April 2022 in Las Vegas.
This you have to see.
Now you need to watch On the Official MV. it's so interesting how the two different videos can give the song a different feel. Plus the Official MV is beautiful. A mini movie. Plus you can always play, "spot the reference" while watching it. lol
This was filmed at Sepulveda Dam in LA. Normally the walls are heavily graffitied. BTS crews spray painted over all the graffiti to produce this vision of clarity. The choreography is by Sienna Lalau of The Lab dance crew in LA. She’s the girl with the fierce face at the beginning of the mv.

what a good call on location, this was so cool to watch, it created such a great atmosphere, she is really really good!
@@Killdeer25 The location is inspired. Lumpens the director of so many of BTS music videos really had an inspired vision of stark visuals while the song itself is not stripped down in the least. So many moving parts: the back up dancers with their intricate interwoven dance moves, the members & their vocals moving between those dancers, the depth of the lyrics, the Rick Owens couture, the incredible background of marching band music & gospel choirs, step dance moves of the dance off. I could go on but this mv is a freaking banquet.

I still listen to this song weekly. It's my fight song (I'm a caregiver for my disabled husband; caregivers need fight songs!)a One of my daughters is senior faculty advisor at UCLA, and all my kids were in marching band, so I feel connections to this song. And who else would pair an ethereal tenor solo with a sousaphone and pull it off?

Everytime I listen to this song I have to stop everything and watch the video. The whole thing is a master piece, the music, the lyrics, the camera work, the choreo, the break, everything really. In my opinion, one of the most enjoyable videos for nonkpoppers. You're reaction says it all 🤩🥰💜

Speaking of ON - if you haven't seen their MAMA 2020 performance yet, now is definitely the time to do so. Let's just say they fully leaned into the cheerleading/marching band concept, stadium and all, on this one. 😲👍 And as a bonus, it also includes my absolute favourite performance of Life Goes On as well, both in terms of concept and the unbelievable way they included the missing/recovering Suga. Like, holy cr_p, who does that?! 🤯

The dance practice will kill you, I hope you check it out, the heart and effort they put in, ooof. They performed this for Jimmy Fallon, in Grand Central! They cleared the place in order to do it, like 3-4am. Afterwards Jimmy said when he hugged JK he could feel his heartbeat through his back. They give everything everytime 💜
This is why I have such a hard time recommending stuff. I gave up at one point and just went back to 2013, and went trough it, LOL. I'd get to 2016 and then I watched that MAMA, and so on. I'd through a couple years and watch the movie, and listen, after doing that, quite a bit, they had that last Busan concert and I saw Run BTS, and had to just shut off get up and walk away to process what I'd seen. Then Hobi came out with More, and I was laughing at myself for thinking I had a clue about what any of them would come up with. RM's latest blow my brain apart. I listened to the entire thing with my jaw on the floor. anyway I always enjoy your reactions so much. This reaction was exactly like mine. At this point I threw my hands in the air and knew the best BTS was surprise BTS whether it was a ballad, a rap, whatever. It's why I love them and remain listening to their music at some point everyday.
This is actually one of my favorite videos and performances! It’s truly amazing !!! The performance on the Jimmy Fallon show is so worth to watch also it was filmed in grand central station just awesome !!!! And of course ON is just an incredible song !! “Can’t hold me down cause you know I’m a fighter “ is a line close to my heart being a cancer survivor !!!!
If you watched their Carpool karaoke with James Cordon, you'd have heard part of this one. The woman they zoomed in on in the beginning of the MV is Sienna Lalau, the choreographer (she was 19, I think when she did this). She's part of the dance crew The Lab out of LA. She has choreographed other songs for them as well and she and/or The Lab, have been back up dancers for BTS and J-Hope's Lollapalooza headline.
I am trying to remember if I have watched that video or not, I might have in passing, oh, so they have some big credits with BTS in general? that makes sense, they seem to be loyal with who they work with

I have never seen a comment that notices that when they peel off down to JK's solo, they do it in age order. Of course, I haven't read every comment. More evidence of their cleverness with Easter eggs.
