$219 as well on www.tekneticsdriect.com with my code A1474. The seller on Ebay is just taking orders and using his code to make it the same price. Teknetics is having a moving sale with the Liberator and the Minuteman through January 26th.
It sounds like a good deal. Too bad I already own a LRP; otherwise, I will buy one too. The Liberator is just like the LRP except for it is labeled Teknetics instead Bounty Hunter.
RELEASE DATE = March 20th. www.tekneticsdirect.com (March 15th for website) UPDATE! Use code A1474 for $50 off and FREE shipping on the Ameriteks! Use SAME code A1474 for 15% off and FREE shipping of select Teknetics detectors.
Nice looking machine Hunter. And for the price it is a great detector. Funny how just about everyone I know that has a Bounty Hunter detector loves it. I am glad my first detector was my old Bounty Hunter. The new machines coming out look awesome. When is the field test? I know winter is supposed to be headed back. Thanks for sharing. Eric
I'll have some field tests coming soon. Taking them both out today to have some fun. Will be doing air test and nails test vids as well...running them through some tests even I have never attempted before.
Is there a big difference in the length between the liberator and the patriot? Wanting to get the patriot but not sure if it would be short enough for me to use.
Hi, Do you know if it is a common problem for the push-buttons to fail? I had to ship my F44 back to Fisher today after it wouldn't turn off until the batteries were removed. The detector works OK, and I saw no evidence of moisture entering it. As you know, the F22 and F44 are made to withstand rain, and Fisher advertises "Go ahead, get it wet", and that it "loves rain". Its been raining record amounts here this winter, (PNW)and I've been out in he rain almost every day a month and a half with it. Then this.
I have not heard of any F44 button failures...so def not common. I do know of a small handful of LRP's that had PP button issues but they were replaced free of charge. I'm sure they will take care of it. It is absolutely a weatherproof machine and has even survived a dunk test from what I have seen on the internet (not covered under warranty obviously). I would consider it an anomaly.

Yep. It's an Land Ranger Pro. The LRP is a good machine (it was my #1 until I upgraded to a T2se). This is an improvement in that it doesn't say "Bounty Hunter" on it, which immediately causes people to talk shit.
Dan Rowell you're correct there. It amazes me that so many people even have such opinions of the Bounty Hunter brand, but they do. I've had many BH models including the LRP and they all served me well. It's similar to the Trump derangement syndrome we see going on, on the left. There's a disease called Bounty Hunter Derangement Syndrome where most of the complaints we see in forums aren't based in reality or actual experience. It has the following symptoms: -Accepting rumors as gospel -the irrational belief that nobody can save money and have a great machine -the irrational fear that if Bounty Hunter is good, their Minelab is somehow less good -feigning actual experience with a BH machine in order to trash it -Trolling BH forums to alleviate the pain of overpaying for another brand, reassuring themselves they haven't overpayed -anxiety in the actual presence of a BH machine
I think the only thing BH or FT in general needs to do to improve its brand are 2 things. 1. Don't make so many versions of the same or similar machine. By that I'm not referencing this move. BH alone has 3 or 4 renamed versions of the same machines like in the discovery series and many of the older muffler on a stick models. One reason people started to not take the brand seriously is because there's were too many and with often whimsical names. 2. A warranty should be a warranty. This is one of the things that makes Apple so successful. The warranty is not in who owns it or where they bought it, but in the machine. I can walk into an Apple Store if I have a problem, which is rare with both Apple and FT, and all they are concerned with is, is it an Apple, is something wrong with it not of my doing, and is it under warranty. If the answer to those 3 questions is yes, I'm covered. I don't have to hold on a receipt for 5 years that lets face it, most people are never going to find after the first month lol. I don't have to worry about if I bought it used whether the warranty follows the product, it does. This serves the consumer and producer well. The consumer has confidence and the producer doesn't have bad units out there people are using to base their opinions on.
I have not but might someday. Have been receiving interest about it. I do know the Gamma is different and has some hidden "trade secrets" according to Dave Johnson. What those are other than the manual groud balance and sensitivity setting being different...IDK
Wow, it is selling at less than the bounty hunter LRP. On ebay brand new with free shipping $229.

My wife is 5ft3 and can use both...should not be an issue.

Lots of great features. Thanks for showing.
Thanks for watching Jerry!
hey I just bought one of these machines. only its says land Ranger pro and has less merica on the face plate lol
So you are saying you DON't have an eagle across your detector. For shame Dan! :P
Once again, very nice! Thanks
Thanks Alpha!

From a marketing standpoint...it is genius and they should sell very well.

Even after I dug a merc at 7" in a trashy yard I get lip. This machine is outstanding for the price.

It's the same detector as the Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro.
LRP is being discontinued - this has a lower MSRP and a upgraded look - plus a $50 off code.
So if the same means better...then yes I agree. :)
TheHunterGT that's interesting. Maybe a new top of the line for Bounty Hunter in the pipeline then? That damn push in coil though, grrr
Perhaps the future BH top of the line will have a screw in. :)
have you tested the bh platinum pro? tek gamma on a g2 stem?
