Hey for those of you who did not find anything to delete at 1:15. This is probably because your error comes from a different source. There is an easy way to find it though! Activate your error message. Then simply click on "edit" in the registry editor then "search" and then type in what it says after the last "/" The computer should find your source for you and from there just delete the stuff like the guy in the vid did and restart your computer!

Before you edit anything in the registry you need to make a copy of the registry so if you mess up you can go back!!! Messing with the registry can render your PC useless! regedit>File>Export>*Choose a place to save If i messes up you can do regedit>File>Import>*Choose the original saved registry
I fixed it! i basically copied the name of the .dll file for example: example.dll Then i googled it up (-> important: NEVER download .dll files from the internet!!) I found a useless site that told me to do things like rebooting and stuff but it also said that that the problem could be from your Visual C++. I downloaded the setup and launched it. Now: - If you don't have Visual C ++ you should install it - If you already had it launch the setup anyway and click Repair. Hopefully this works!
I too had the bar blank. I simply typed in my dll error (adpeakproxy65.dll), set to OK, then back in and deleted it. Restarted the computer and it worked, no more pop up. Thanks for the help Mr. RemoveVirus.
Absolutely nothing you can do about this error. You can't delete the file either as it says it's already running in Wininit or something and that Wininit is a crucial file in the operating system. Just have to put up with this one I think.

Bad Image error is the result of a corrupted .dll file that windows uses. You should run command prompt in Administrative mode and run "sfc /scannow" command. This will find and fix corrupted files. If you are using Windows 10, 8.1 or 8, you can run "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" to repair corrupted files that SFC couldn't fix.

All of that didn't work for me. what worked for me was, I had to reinstall my display drivers as i was only getting this error when trying to play my games.
What worked for me was going into my files and deleting binaries in Fortnite and deleting binaries in engine folder. After that I went into epic games launcher and managed Fortnite and verified files. Hope this helps.

This is NOT the best way. YOu would be better off unregistering the dll using regvr32 command. Then try uninstalling and reinstalling yoru app. OR re-registering the affected dll again, using regsvr32.

If nothings works for you, you can try downloading and putting VCRUNTIME140_1.DLL in your system32 folder, that fixed it for me
