I've noticed that films before the Godfather that had gangsters in them used regular looking white guys in regular clothes. You only knew they were "Gangsters" because they would say it in the film. For all you knew they were accountants not killers.
Michael was not the middle child. He was the youngest. That's a very important part you missed from Godfather II. Freddo was stepped over, but that's the way the Don wanted it. If you're going to do a deep dive you have to get the details right.
