Love it, those carriages are amazing.
It’s almost certainly an ambassador coming to formally present their credentials to the King on their appointment. They are always collected from their embassy, taken to the palace for the private audience with His Majesty and then returned to their embassy, all by royal carriage. It’s a lovely tradition that ambassadors thoroughly enjoy.
We are so lucky to have all of this.
They don’t usually travel in the Royal carriages. It’s more like practice for Trooping the Colour.
It is nothing to do with Trooping. The Ambassadors are zlwayts taken to the Palace by Carriage

I thought ambassador’s went to the Palace of St James as that is the official site.

Well it is definitely the ceremony of the presentation of ambassador letters to HM The King.
(both Letters of recall and Letters of credence)
The Court Circular of 12 June 2024 states that the ambassador from the Republic of North Macedonia & the ambassador from the Republic of Cuba were received.
The the marshal of the diplomatic corps is in the 1st carriage while the one officer in uniform of the 2nd carriage show they must all be the North Macedonia.

If all these coaches were never used. There would be complaints about that. The traffic is halted for a few minutes. And the world moves on.

Absolutely correct. Disgraceful that the lead off bay horse is limping and bobbing his head. Shame on the stable management that a distressed horse is put under a carriage. The whip should pick this up as he drove the horses. The late Prince Philip and HM Queen Elizabeth would surely be concerned at such poor standards.
@@eileenshanahan1521 The assumption being the horse was limping prior to being put under the carriage. Could it be the limp was caused by something on the (abnormal for any animal) roadway, and nothing could be done until they get to the palace? Just a suggestion.
