The guitar shown was played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb from 1974 and recorded with a Shure SM57 (left) and a Sennheiser 409 (right) . The backing tracks were recorded into a Fame Twin Looper on the same instrument right before the recording of each video. A Electro Harmonix Freeze was used for additional loops and sounds. Overdrive Sounds come from a Vemuram Jan Ray, a Greer Amp Ghetto Stomp and occasionally the Origin Revival Drive.
Tobias Hoffmann is a award winning guitar player from cologne, germany. He combines the sounds of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Surf and some experimental stuff. Check him out:

He is such a great guitarist. Every guitar he plays he makes them sound like what they are. He teases every nuance of sound out of the instrument. That was unmistakably a Gretsch and I echo VacFink's comment. Spot on.
Another fantastic demonstration! The Tobias recordings are a fantastic resource and Kudos to Vintage Guitar Oldenburg for providing so many recently!
