What's Rassie's ISSUE With Hacjivah Dayimani?

- The first alignment squad for the Springbok 2024 season was released yesterday, however, Hacjivah Dayimani did not make the squad. Springboks fans are not happy but I hope this can provide some clarity of the situation.
For me, He is our only missing link to play a 8-0 split in the 2027 World Cup final.
ahahaha totally
He is fast enough to play backline
100%
Exactly
Why are we even questioning Rassie honestly, the man has turned Bok rugby into a powerhouse brand. Lets all remember what SA rugby was before Rassie.
He is a Racist who is biased towards overrated white players
Agreed 🤝
What honestly he is a damm RACIST who is BIASED towards White players when it comes to the selection of the National team
Daymani is a best but gotta trust in rassie
@@jacques-gernorefrans9358you WHITE can trust him because he is looking after your OVERRATED WHITE PLAYERS
Lets not forget how fast Dayimani is, can easily play as a shadow winger. I'd personally put him on flank. If possible, it would be insane if he transitioned into a winger.
If marvin Orie can play for Rassie. Anyone can play for Rassir.
I hate you for this comment. But…. Uhm. Ya. No comment 😅
Some very valid comments.Hacj is a very good player but the competition is really tough. He would play for most other countries but so would other contenders you have mentioned.
He is BETTER than all those OVERRATED white players you mentioned
Who are the other competitors he outshined all of those OVERRATED WHITE PLAYERS
Let Rassie do his thing
His RACIST thing by being BIASED towards White players when it comes to the selection of the SPRINGBOK team
No he is Biased towards White players when it comes to the selection of the National team
@user-hk8ec7vr8v oh brother, here we go with the race baiting
Given that it's an Alignment squad, you're most definitely going to see him in the next one and a few you see in the first alignment squad will be missing in the next one, Safe to say that the Springbok management are not fools
There's no SPRINGBOK management just the RACIST RASSIE ERASMUS
There is no SPRINGBOK management just the RACIST RASSIE ERASMUS
In Rassie We Trust.
He is a Racist who is biased towards White players when it comes to the selection of teams
Yes ALL your RACISTS WHITE people who thinks this is STILL the APARTHEID era where ONLY your WHITES were aloud to play for the National team. Rassie Erasmus is a Racist who is biased towards White players when it comes to the selection of the National team
Dayimani might not be a typical springbok 8, Yes..but why not work with him like it was done with Kriel play him in a different position...
Kriel was tested on many positions and finally at the last world cup he did wonders.. all Dayimani needs is backing. Kwaqqa is physical but does not have the height for a typical 8th man but he still plays becos of the backing and thats what Dayimani needs and many other good plays who might not necessarily be regarded as natural Springbok type.
Not just him needs backing EVERY PLAYER OF COLOUR needs it from these RACIST White coaches in SA, they will give OVERRATED white players many opportunities
Explain to us what is a typical Springbok 8 do you mean a brainless overrated white PLAYER like Elrich Louw
Kwagga and Kriel is typical examples of how OVERRATED white players are backed by their biased WHITE coaches in SA, Dayimani would not get that same backing by them because in their minds theirs enough black players in the squad
They must just say they want one of the whit okes in the number 8 jersey. That's their "ideal" / "typical" springbok mold.
Dayimani at some point will be a Bok this year, I won't be surprised if he plays in the Rugby Championship this year.
Tony Brown + Dayimani = unlocking line breaks and offloads and getting Springboks scoring tries not just off great defense, but off set pieces.. He is like Kwagga
He is not like Kwagga he is 10 × times BETTER.
@@PatrickDedericksim not sure he has quaggas ground game on defence, but certainly Hacj is good on attack
@@mikebiagio4155 you will NEVER be sure when it comes to players of colour. Always doubt them but not a word of your sh...t WHITE players
Who the he'll is Kwagga a OVERRATED WHITE player backed by his biased WHITE coaches in SA Dayimani is NOT like him he is WAY BETTER than him and STOP COMPARING PLAYERS OF COLOUR WITH YOUR OVERRATED WHITE PLAYERS
This is the first alignment camp only, pretty sure Rassie will drop some players and add others over the next two years.
Primary focus as you said is to build a solid base for next WC.
In hindsight Rassie nearly didn't have enough players to readily draw on to cover injuries/controversies. In the 12 months leading into the WC Hooker injuries, lock injuries (Eben, Lood, Snyman), fly half injuries/scandals, and others (Am, Mapimpi, Siya) could have destroyed Springbok chances. Recovery timing and players stepping up to fill the void was lucky.
Think Dayamanti might see an opportunity arise as an X factor player coming off the bench, which means his greatest competition is Kwagga.
He way BETTER than Kwagga its only because he's black that's why.
Deon, started 37 years probably they felt that and this about him, that didn't stop him he continued being great till they called him and won the world cup, one of the influential players in us winning last year...Dayimani continue don't be discouraged don't worry boet ur time is coming....❤
Remember Ryan Kankowski?? Exactly!
Exact same mould... Ryan was super underrated
Kwagga and Dayimani has similar game and he can jump in the lineout(Dayimani)
Dayimani is MORE explosive than Kwagga but will not get the same opportunities because he is BLACK
@@PatrickDederickskwagga might be our best 8 in my opinion I love daymani I feel his above of hannekom and jasper
@@PatrickDedericksag leave it ffs if you still believe that then you're a moron and have not been following Bok rugby for the last 6 years
@@PatrickDedericks you're really trying to make it a race issue huh
@@cvd465 Why do you think it's not a Race issue proof me otherwise. Dayimani outshine all of those loose forwards that he invited
I agree with the depth aspect, but the typical mould thing is nonsense. That's what they said about kwagga and now he's a stalwart.
I hate the way this is worded -- just because he wasn't called up doesn't mean Rassie has an "ïssue" with him. This is professional sport, not petty school yard antics.
Your comments make a lot of sense. You won another subcriber.
Appreciate you 👊🏼
In every era there are always a bunch of great loose forwards who miss out. We have tons of them
Dayimani is great, probably one thing that is hindering him is his off field lifestyle, fashion and insta/tiktok obsessed and I don't reckon Rassie digs that Dayimani loves himself so much.
And WHAT has his lifestyle to do with playing RUGBY.
@@PatrickDedericksA lot. The team comes first. Some guys think they are Rockstars and don't follow team protocol.
The way I respect Rassie is different to the people I do respect, we are a divided nation those dividing lines cut through skin colour but the way Rassie has picked no one based on colour from the start is evident with Dayimani's omission though I want him there but look at the comments no one looks at his omission as racist or any other reason besides whatever Rassie thinks of him, if we thought of Rassie as favoring certain colour or him being racist it would have been a disaster but we now know his selections are based on merit or what everyone brings to the team, I think Dayimani will eventually make the Springboks team sometimes, earlier or later but this camp does not mean the end of the road for him
@@OzyMandias359 selection criteria of which none of us know of must have been the reason
Don't talk nonsense Rassie Erasmus is a Racist who is biased towards White players when it comes to the selection of the SPRINGBOK team
@@OzyMandias359 both are k...k PLAYERS
he Will get his chance!!!!!!whats this fuss all about!!!by creating this type of argument just create unwelcome future issues for his silection!!!
Actually pretty legit insight. Besides his age and body type not suited to no.8, he could be tried at a different position like open side flanker
You misspoke slightly and said the World Cup in Australia is in 2031, not 2027. In context I think just a slip of the tongue.
Dayamani is one of many good 8 s....Evan Roos could not crack the world cup 36...also not Elrigh Louw who fits the bill as an 8... just the nature of sport...you play in an era where there is just many good ones...Dayamani could be a star with the blitzboks
louw is more a 7 than 8
Can you please give the problem on papier he has really proven himself countless times im sure he has outplayed a few of the scrumhalves there
Celimpilo gumede gets a call up but not this guy. Why maybe? I like both of them but maybe the freestyle of Dayimani won't work on the game plan and discipline of the Boks.
Rassie should not be questioned about his team selection..he can be trusted ..
Why not he is a Racist who is biased towards White players when it comes to the selection of the SPRINGBOK team
"We don't pick the best guys, we pick the right guys" - Rassie Erasmus
its super difficult for him, out of all positions, number 8 is the most competitive and jammed position in the squad, we have premium choices for basically any style of rugby Rassie wants to play, the better option would be to utilise him as an impact player in a utility forward capacity, but yeah, this is a tough call he is very dynamic and hard working, would love to see him be given a chance, but fairly with respect to others competing
I believe Rassie has a plan and i see him as the new version of Kabamba floors and Rassie coached Kabamba .. Kabamba played 7s and captained them aswell. He would be the king of 7s . He is brilljiant i agree.
I also think Dayimani can still be turned into an all rounder not just 8 because of his athleticism.
Yeah, I don't care. Rassie clearly and demonstrably knows how to build a squad where every player is ready to die for every other player. I can't do that, so I don't warrant an opinion.
You lost me at "Pierre Spies was good at defense"😂
He's lying unprovoked 😂😂😂😂
Whats the point of picking a foreign attack and foreign defense couch but still have things like "typical south african no8"
I see Tony Brown being the very reason shy we start to lean toward an Ardie Savea type player like Dayamani, because to be quite honest, Wiese is not the same guy as he is in the club games when he's a Bok.
Rassie is a doos when it comes to not putting dayimani in that squad , just a a chance to see how he would adapt to their so called "springbok" mold number8 .. dayimani can most definitely score and create more tries than any of the current number 8s in line and points make a massive massive difference in a game .. not just defense and running hard
The man made a big mistake when he said that now it is his turn, a little while back. Rassie doesn’t like entitlement.
When we had an athletic no. 8 like Bobby Skinstad, the Springboks went down hill... the lowest trough ever. We need a Duane Vermeulen, Danie Rossouw, Pierre Spies, Jacques Cronje, Juan Smith, Gary Teichmann or Andre Vos.
daiyamani and spies are identical players and dannie was a poor 8
@@subbie5498 He wasn't exceptional, but he can cover all loose forward positions and lock. I thought Warren Whitely was quite good and fast. He disappeared from Rassie's core.
@@subbie5498 not even close. Spies was almost a combo of Duane and Daiyamani. Also Spies would not have made the current Bok team.
However I think Daiyamani deserves to be there ahead of Roos at the moment.
@@subbie5498your mother is a poor nr8
Winning 18 games in a row with Bobby Skinstad in the team was the lowest ever?
Okay... we all have our opinion. But that opinion counts for nothing because we haven't won two world cups in a row....
I don't think "issue" is the word to use - "preferences" would sound better.
What Happened to Juarno "Trokkies" Augustus? Why is he not in the no.8 conversation?
I also don't understand this one
I believe Dayimani playes the same rugby as Rassie back then
Dayamani is a good ball carrier also go check out the stats
This is just a camp... trying out...
And remember the coaches don't select who is good on paper , they select based on battle stats.
A good player should always be like cream and rise to the top. Doesn't matter if he is not selected. The comment of Skinstad being selected and the Boks going downhill? Plse remember who scored the try v Canada that got us through in the 1919 RWC. Those other players u mentioned are also good but Bobby was an enigma.
Is he just good on paper?
Just play Dayimani on Flank and Wiese on 8th man. think with the law changes coming we need to concentrate on our attacking a bit more. and Dayimani fits that role perfectly
Trokkie must come save SA from all this confusion🤝🏽
"...What's Rassie's ISSUE With Hacjivah Dayimani?..." - he's not the complete player, Rassie doesnt want sussies. Let him head abroad and learn a thing or two.
Sir please follow Rassie since he took over SA rugby and you will understand how rassie operates.Rassie doesn't have anything against Dayamani so please relax with your comment...
Is it just me thinking this but Jasper Wiese is not good in a Springbok jersey. I'm always scared he would drop a ball on kick off, or that he would give away a yellow/red card for cleaning at the breakdowns?
Me to bro. We need to replace Thor, Kwagga and Jasper at 8. Evans, Louw and Du Preez with Dayimani as bomb squad super subs
He also panicked against Newzealand In the final when kwagga won a turnover and gave him the ball. Missed a simple pass
I agree. Prone to brain implosion and stupid penalties. He is too dumb to be a Bok
@@SA_PASFnah bro Kwagga is THE most hard working, smart, gifted ballers on the field and is known to do the most useful things per minute (battle stats) of all the Boks. He is well proven.
In Rassie I trust, Dayimani can wait hus time will come
Dayimani is a young Siya. Watch Siya working his way up... Same play... Forward with great ball skills, with a great hand off and quite explosive at times. The only challenge is his lifestyle, Dennis Rodman-esque, but we all know what Dennis did with the Bulls! Ask MJ23... 🤷🏿♂️💥
And what Siya has done with the Boks, despite the Springbok rugby jersey burning antics 😅
It is a alignment camp. How many RWC have you won?I will rather back Rassie.
His defense and work rate is immeasurable. No one comes near his skill set.
My argument exactly. I got cooked on Facebook for saying the same thing.
Exactly.... He's an incumbent star and is very good.... What about Akker vd Merwe.... We've basically lost 2 no 8's....its BS that he's not in
I think he,all be in Rassie,s cross hairs soon enough, just a matter of time. I,ll bet he will be a very dynamic no. 6 as well...
No issue hes just not fisical enough
Say the guy's name properly first
there is still three alignment camps
where is Dyantji?
Playing for the Sharks and looks AVERAGE.
There's just too much talent
It will be very hard to question him .ìf youdo he might simply bring out the two world cups that they won back to back.
But its an alignment camp isnt the whole purpose is to actually see thr guy for yourself its obvious rassie doesnt want him for some weird reason, and the first reason is poor because hanekom doesnt fit the typical mauld of a bok 8
He should leave nw.. And still stand a chance to play international rugby at any other country, as long as Rassie is in charge Dyamani and the likes wont get the nod... Rassie just doesnt see a 8th man as a other teams do....rassie will pick the peices that fit his puzzle, and think his earned the right to do whateva he pleases at as a coach... Dyamani should imigrate asap. Thats in his best interest
Rassie picks players that execute the game plan that is decided on and practiced by the staff and players, I think that Hacj can dance to his own tune at times. A grand piano with one dead key sounds sh1t!
Ruck Inspector Spies - is not comparable.
Yes we won two world cups in a row but we need to improve especially when attacking therefore Dayinani can be the answer, for me best loose forward in South Africa
Bad excuses they also was not that strong in the beginning, please be honest Pier en Duwayne was almal maar toe hle Springbok raak???
99% of people on You Tube channels and in comments are not qualified to do rugby selection otherwise they would be in those roles...so let the coaches who won 2 world cups select players based on merit and not based on unqualified emotional comments from Saturday couch spectators
he could be a Kwagga smith style player
your comments make sense
Theres nothing wrong with saying you also dont know why he's not picking dayimani😅
Fairy. Suits the Stormers’ attacking and counter attacking style. South Africa bludgeons the opposition into submission. Not the job for a fairy. Good player though. Cannot bludgeon anyone into submission. Question: How would a Dayimani have done in the quarter final, semi-final and final of the last Word Cup? It is, after all, all about the World Cup.
not really all about the wc a year after the wc
It’s really quite Simple. Dayimani does not fit the profile of the number 8 the boks like. Hanekom fits that profile better and has a very very high potential, higher than dayimanis.
no he doesn't daiyamani is ten times the player hanekom will ever be😂
@@subbie5498 how ? He’s no where near physical enough to start with and can’t defend. You don’t know rugby
Dayimani is 10 times better than Hanekom
@@andilelubelo2728 explain how ? What does he have to offer that’s better than Hanekom? Plus Hanekom is only 21
@@danielmacdonald721he is a better ball carrier, more skilled, more vision, faster, gains more meters.
I trust in Rassie but he must give the youngster a chance coaches needs to give fair opportunities to everyone with a unique skill Hacjivah is the machine
He's not a reg for the stormers and don't get along with roos not good enough for the bokke
No doubt he is a good player just seems to end up on the wing too often.
That's the coaches plan.. he plays on wing to draw 2 or 3 defenders then offloads to the backs to score. Also helps in dominant carries and to make it easy for the 9 to play next phase also helps in dominating rucks to prevent turnovers. That's what Siya is to the Boks and Ardie is to the ABs. We keep on repeating same thing to you guys.
He must move oversees and get citizenship that side he will make it at scotland, england, ireland to represent a country his good enough for the boks
Embrose Papier??????????????
Time will come.. The boy must continue to work hard
There will be other camps . He will play
He's a flat track bully!! Rassie is correct!
His*
Hatji bru eat more steaks beef up like like the white boys,or move to nr6,you are. Certainly more than a match for Siya
The man is a serious liability on defence. Simple as that.
Oh calm down!
I disagree, and I think he'll be part of the next camp. However, he'll be groomed into the team.
Hacjivah IS BEST
He’s a softie
Really? Better than Kwagga? 😂
I'm sorry, when you used Pierre Spies and great defender in the same sentence your argument lost all credibility
He doesn't fit into the boks game plan
Hanekom is literally not the typical bok 8 but hes in the squad doesnt make sense honestly
he is like Spies. Jake white actually compared him to Spies.
#.Fasssi?????
Get the hell out of something you don't know about. How many World Cups have you won?
Not cool....
Relax man
He Nigerian
If Rassie 'thinks outside the Boks' then he'll put his balls on the line and change up the forward play, experimentally at first that is.
Nope, he does not, he has already put his balls on the line, PLENTY of times, he wants a certain type of player in that position. END of.
