Those of you who failed following this recipe, and if your sweet fell apart during cooking process, there are few things to remember.
When she covered the sweets, she used a lid with a vent hole, this allows excess vapor pressure to release. If you don’t have a lid with a vent hole, don’t use lid at all, just simmer in syrup without any cover, so that they don’t break apart during cooking. Also don’t use any utensil to move them around, that’s not necessary and will cause the sweets to fall apart.
