That caught my eye as well and has been on my wishlist since I saw it.
I don't have any vibram soled shoes and thought these were when I first saw them, but no matter, that tread pattern is what makes them great for hiking terrain.
GO CREEPERS SOCKS!!!!
Shaun Clark is the nicest owner of any business I've ever conversed with.
Thanks for showcasing these Chris/Eric, looks like they'd be a great spring/fall hiker for sure.
I recently tried them. I really like the look and the toe box and they are soft and comfortable. However, the lacing system doesn’t work for me. I have narrow heels and ankles and need to pull the lacing pretty tight to secure my heels. With traditional lacing I can tighten around the ankles but keep it loose at the forefoot, not with this kind of lacing. I also tried the Wanderer because they have the same soles but with traditional lacing. Wanderer feel great and secured, but the thick fabric bunches up and pressed on my feet when bent. Eventually I got Vivo Magna Lite WR instead. I did sacrifice some toe splay room, but I really like how light and soft Magna Lite are. The water resistant is a big plus too.
It would be very nice if you would reviee xeros shoes they just came out with some chealsy boot🥾
Those specific boots are on our lineup for this fall/winter! Keep an eye out for it. We'll be reviewing the Leather Dillon here shortly, and the kids canvas Dillons as well!
Considering how you both have a problem with this shoe's weight, It would be lovely if you weighed them and told us that weight.
My scale shows 12.9 ounces
@@sonsofsever holy moly, that's portley! Thanks!

I just want Vessi to make minimalist shoes. Their waterproof knit material is incredible. Do you know any water-resistant/proof casual minimalist shoes?
I don't know of any waterproof casual ones, but there are waterproof sportier models, like the Groundies All Terrain Low Waterproof, that might work? Depends on if you like the look or not I guess!
You guys say that the bottom of this shoe is sturdy and thick enough to protect you from rocks while the website talk about a 4mm sole and keeps mentioning "barefoot", how are these things compatible?
@@Hankyuo the lugs are another 4mm, plus the insole has gotta be at least 4mm, the website doesn't say though, but I'd guess you're looking at at least 12mm all together. We've been wearing a lot of Feelgrounds, Splay, and even other Be Lenka shoes all summer that are less than that, which is probably part of why they feel so thick to us.
@@sonsofsever Thank you!
Why do y'all never include a link to buy the shoe?
@@sonofman70x7 we don’t have one for BeLenka and Barebarics. Also, companies don’t always let you generate custom links. Sometimes they assign us a link and we’re stuck with it. Honest question; In the case that we don’t have a link, does it cause that much friction for someone to go and google search the shoe? Even if a reviewer has a link I’m usually Google searching the product I’m looking at before the review is even over 😂 but maybe that’s just me?

It's not a big deal for me. It's a minor annoyance to have to search for the shoe. I was more curious than anything else.
