Tipalt Burn live at Green Croft Arts

Back in December I was commissioned to write a piece of music for Green Croft On The Wall's Collision & Conflict geo-located sound walk. The walk features 8 pieces from artists reflecting on the historical, archeological and environmental conflicts surrounding Hadrian's Wall and the rural community.
My piece 'Tipalt Burn' follows a conversation between Hadrian's Wall and the burn about their relationship with the landscape over hundreds of years.
I filmed this when I was up in Greenhead a few weeks ago. Massive thank you to Amanda and Kit for letting me record in the beautiful barn at Green Croft Arts. It's a wonderful space! The railway sleepers behind me are from an old mining railway - I think they make a beautiful backdrop.
