I love the song and the guy/s and this version because we like them even when silent. but...if we have to compare, this is a different version with different inflexions of the voice representing different meaning than the original. Both enjoyable, both are a must for we the fans.

Just such a brilliant performance of this song, and my favourite version of it. Perhaps my favourite song of all time, ever since I came home with the cassette in 1985 and then saw them play live in 1986. They looked so young back then. Then in 2015, Yanto Thomas on drums gave MK such confidence to sing and play at his best, even thirty years later. 2015 was a great year for this performer and his band. We were lucky to have them keep playing on after that, but nothing compares to 2015.

Ah, that Red 1961 Fender Strat! What a beautiful sound it makes in MK's hands! A round of applause for the fabulous band he has!
It is not his original '61 strat but one fender gave him as a prototype for his signature one
I really do not like Strats and most Fender guitars... but Mark Knopfler makes a good argument for them...
