The basic premise of a con is 'you can't con an honest man'. People go into these 'mystery bag' or random draw things purely on the hope of getting something of a higher value than they've paid. They're under the illusion they can 'con' the company but then cry when it obviously doesn't work out that way.
Fortunately we aren't crying. We know the obvious risk of a “Mystery” bag regardless of the contents of the bag. We are not only buyers/sellers but we also collect. From my experience I know I'm not going to make millions from situations like this but to find a piece or couple pieces that just need some TLC to bring the value back then that's great. In my opinion if we break even from the pieces as they sit in the bag then that's also great!
I was second-handed scammed, lol! Same thing at the end of the day. Luckily, I can stop the fake piece from fooling anyone else. However I will easily make my money back on this bag if not make a little bit of money. One goodwill junk is another man's profit!
@@galaxypickers I gave up on thrift store watches. Good that you can make your money back though. I have far better luck as garage and estate sales. Higher end mechanical and automatics.

I wouldn't say you got scammed. I would say more so you over paid for a Good Will bag of junk, it's to be expected.
