BBC LL88 Analog Transformer Console Saturator Bus Glue for mixing and Mastering Music

These rather large gentlemen have been used in high end pro audio since the 70’s! They do the whole analog 3d console thing beautifully - so …. I wouldn’t buy them as clippers per se - though you can hear them glancing in the direction of clipping in the latter two sections of the video - the bus glue is a tad too obvious (unless you like hearing it!). What folks like these for is the big console feel - that big, transparent “every mix element sitting where it should” thing you only get from tasty hardware - and boy do they do that while still remaining sonically clear and spacious. Those huge sounding singer songwriter records from back in the 70’s and 80’s - that’s the kinda thing they do. I’d advise getting the free Airwindows Purest Gain plugin so you can push just the right amount of audio into them per song as they’re very program dependent - you’ll find the sweet spot and Mmmm Mmmm Mmmmm. Hot damn Yummy!
