Kramer are the kings of holoflash finishes , they started it all .
Spector bass invented the holoflash while they were owned by Kramer I believe.

Man those Badlands guitars look awesome. From everything I have read and seen, they are made to a high standard.
The only thing that kept me from buying that holoflash model was that I wanted 24 frets.
Your stuff is awesome! I am trying to learn that thumping technique you mentioned before, also been trying out going from fret 8 to 1 and back

Killer looking and playing guitar from Badlands. Always enjoyed a holoflash guitar. I'd love a LP Custom with that aesthetic.
I think the thing that helps this guitar not go over the top the most is the black burst, black hardware, and black headstock. It makes the foil pop but also doesn’t over do it .

The finish reminds me of my sister’s Lisa Frank lunchbox.

That was my favorite Kramer finish
Oddly enough, it's very similar configuration to my '88 Charvel Model 5FX Firecrackle Finish (only 200 made) with a humbucker in the bridge and a single coil in the neck. In 88 that was one of the craziest finishes I'd ever seen. Looks like molten lava. I have a Seymour Invader in the Bridge and DiMarzio rails type in the neck, I forget the model name....
Story on this guitar, I sold my original a few months after I got it, few years later found this one at a guitar store with some missing parts, scored it for $250. Had it ever since and love it.

Riffs were supreme today my friend. Does your guitar (the silver one) have stainless steel frets? I like the shattered dreams finish, I'm not sure what the actual name of the finish is, but it is one of the most high-end finishes I have seen.

If you're speccing out a guitar (primarily for high gain stuff, maybe some spacey ambient cleans), do you prefer a neck single coil or humbucker?

You could maybe organise a show of yours.......on 40 years ago guitars......the make of guitar played by Wolfsbane's guitarist, I think Schecter but not sure.......they did some really weird body finishes, to contact Jase Edwards........how would you get a show like that - Xander Does 80s Electrix - together - guitars loaned from all over the world - interviewing Jase Edwards, Wolfsbane's lead guitarist then - for the sake of "Touché To Badlands" & lots of other present day makers - Jase Edwards is very ill present time, unfortunately.

I agree. It's a factual statement. I had people over the last few months ripping me a new one because I said ss frets feel/play better and last longer.
