  • You might not have noticed, but Australia's biggest liquor retailers are now selling vast numbers of their own private-label wine, beer and pre-mixes. It's leading to concerns about a further concentration of market power. Liquor retailers, including Dan Murphy's, BWS, Liquorland, Vintage Cellars and Celebrations are now selling hundreds of homebrand products. Supermarket giant Coles is being accused of deceptive marketing for selling gin in its bottle shops which spruiks boutique credentials but it is actually private label.
