I've loved the conversation. I've spent this week with my Grandma and she's fabulous. The transition is definitely not sweet but it's worth it; don't know if that's the right thing to say. Old age is a gift from God. Love ❤
Kambua thank you so much for this channel,I just lost my child August this year and your channel has been so inspiring it has really helped me on my healing journey
An amazing conversation. I remember I lost my period for 2 months after a laparoscopy procedure and I actually had hot flushes, night sweats and sleep interruptions. I was so scared because I was turning 41! 😅 But my period came back and the perimenopausal symptoms disappeared. I would start fanning myself with my mouse pad out of the blue! While my colleagues were just ok. I used to enjoy working in 16 degrees in the office while everyone else was freezing... it was not bad... Just strange when it comes unexpectedly.
I have followed Farah since Fabulous Living started. I'm 47,perimenopausal and yoh! I have had breezy easy periods then last year......crime scene periods, wear black only, no sitting on a seat that's not black😂😂😂....hot flashes came this year with terrible insomnia. Had a Mirena IUD inserted to control the bleeding and lost 9kgs,Jan to July......hot flashes gone and sleep like a baby.....now si Tindi here has ongezad 4kgs tena( have exams and I binge ,esp sugar.....hot flashes are back.....😭😭. Farah has alot of wisdom in this topic
Honestly we received very little training on menopause in medschool.....it was that topic....pitia pitia....we.know we will not be examined on menopause......poleni sana. Yes I have been one of those " it's normal....Mungu mbele "😂😂😂 till it was my turn going through perimenopause. We have a gynecologist Dr Amanda who has now taken up an interest in menopause management. There is hope
