Brian D is the winner of the coaster and keychain... email me via my website www.tabletopwitchcraft.com so I can mail these out to you ! Congratulations ! :)
Always count on you bringing new tech to the process.👍🏼
Coincidentally, my 3 watts blue laser pointer finally arrived last week and I played with it over the weekend. I can no longer see why people say these devices were so dangerous....
Right on! There’s so much out there. I’m grateful for the opportunity to show this off. As for your blue laser …. lol
My wife wants one of those really bad. Been saving up for it and is almost there. Thanks for all the info brother!!!!
You got it... Discount code for them too in the video description :)
These things are going to have to come down massively in price before most people even consider touching them. I can't imagine using something like this often enough to justify thousands of dollars.
The way you incorporate these new tools into crafts is awesome!!!!
Thank you :)
Looks fantastic! Can’t wait to see what crafts you make using this new tool!
Same here :). Thanks John!
So I have been watching for a long time. Because of you I bought a Proxxon. My D&D players love what I have made and I just want to say thank you for sharing all of your knowledge.
Thank you for sharing that Bob. Comments like this inspire me 🤙
Looking forward to see how the filtration /exhaust works out. I have heard other brands like Glowforge really gum up areas inside the fan area. Keep it clean!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll keep an eye on that fan for sure.
Neat! Excited to see what crafting applications something like this has!
Thanks… they’re to come!
Very advanced crafting 😮
Would love to see other videos using xps foam and some of the crafting ideas you could do with that material.
All to come!
Thanks John!!!! Being a new laser owner this video helped me with understanding my laser better. As always these videos are so applicable to the hobby!!!
Thank you :). Have a great weekend!
Have always been interested in this type of printing, and the level of detail from this would be ideal for what I plan to do (imagine all the ‘Outhouse of Doom’ kitsets you could make with this!). Great and informative vid and well worth the watch! Can’t wait to see what you make with this in future projects!!
Thanks Andy. As for the outhouse of doom …. Lol
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT just imagine the sales on your web store! I’d buy one….or three 😉
Looks like an amazing tool. Thanks for the information.
You got it :)
Fantastic video on setup and use. Looks pretty straight forward in using. Can’t wait to see your next projects you use this for. Time to start my own research with plans to buy one in the next six to eight months. Thank you for a great tutorial!
You got it Scott! I’ll show progress on Discord this coming week. I just bought a 4x8 sheet of birch plywood!
Thanks for the video, lots of cool stuff to be made.I was not in the market for one before I watched this lol
Thanks… I’ve got some fun stuff planned with this machine!
I like it, I am not sure how much I personally would use something like that but it is cool.
I have tons of plans for this outside of tabletop gaming as well.
Man love the possibilities
Definitely!
Hi John, good introduction, love this tool, i wish i had a place for it
Thank you. It’s pretty large, but it results in a large working area as well!
Super cool! This would be a game changer. 💪🏼
It definitely is :)
This will be amazing to build jigs for foam cutter possibly
Big Time !!!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT looking forward to what you come up with
Never heard of this machine so looking forward to seeing all the diff things you can do with it
Enjoy... it's an awesome piece of equipment.
I really appreciated this video! Thank you for the insight. I have been looking for a replacement for my glowforge. They are a pain to keep clean...
That’s what I hear! So far this is great. Yet to clean it though…
Nice Work & Video 👍
Thank you :)
Very nice apparatus! Now you can make your own tools for the Proxxon Thermocut as well, just hope Gerard Boom doesn't find out! :)
😮. I can get creative :)
Cool ideas!
Thanks :)
That looks like fun to play with.
It is :)
you pretty much have shifting lands right there. You can make shingles, doors, windows, probably even rollers all by yourself.
You certainly can with this machine!
I would love to have one of these…
It’s a nice piece of equipment!
Right on, sensei. Very informative video. I guess I better start saving my pennies! - Rick
Thanks Rick!! I’ll fire it up on Discord and show you what it can do.
That is amazing! It was packed really well. Potential building material?? If it weren't for the rail issue and the clamp, it would be too perfect. And where do you start?!? GEEZ, the things you could customize!! It is expensive though.
Yeah it’s a quality piece of equipment with limitless projects.
Sick!
💪
Frickin LASERS!!!! awesome!
Haha, right on 💪
I have enough trouble justifying my 3d printer costs, i couldn't go a full proxon, had to go a cheap, generic. Could never justify the expense of something like this, though it would be a super fun hobby tool.
It really is a blast. The uses with it go way beyond crafting.
Lots of potential but my crafting is not at a level to warrant a purchase at this time. Good luck with you shelving unit, can't wait to see the results!
Thank you…. It’s been a long time coming haha
I should like have laser tool like this one, but, here, in France they are very expensive, so I must used my hands to work and craft !
I hope have a 3D printer as soon as possible !
Bye.
Thanks for watching :).
Does the fan pull all the fumes out or do you still notice fumes / smell in your shop. I've thought about laser cutters in the past, but my workshop is in the basement and I was never sure it would work well down there.
The fan does a great job but I can smell it a little bit still. I’d definitely recommend venting out your house if your shop is in the basement.
Amazing machine. I always wanted one, but the cost of those are too steep for me at the moment.
I hear you. There is a small discount code in the description of the video when/if you ever plan on picking one up.
It would be awesome to make your own MDF kits, but if I add any more toys I won't have any room to actually craft.
lol I hear ya!
Silly question: can this cut xps foam without melting it?
Great question. I plan on giving that a go. I have heard of some people successfully doing so. Imagine how fast it’ll be to create stone walls!
To be honest this video just feels like an advertisement so that you can get a free one.
You’re not far off. I can’t afford the cost of all these tools and supplies and keep the channel running and support my family at the same time. One video to show off their product to help support my channel…. Yep ok. Where do I sign.
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT speaking of supporting your channel and your family, weren't you going to have some kind of a workshop or we could come up and crafts with you? I'd rather spend money on that than a really expensive tool I'm hardly going to use :)
@@aaronbono4688 Looking into that with Gerard Boom. If we pull it off it will definitely be announced on the channel. Thank you.
Always love your content, but . . .
Over the past 5 or so years almost every crafting channel I've followed has gradually added more and more expensive tech to their workflow. Inspiring, but I wonder how many of your followers can afford a good 20w laser with appropriate and safe enclosure and air management systems?
As these channels become increasingly 'automated', the projects become more and more out of the reach of Joe Viewer.
Just an observation and maybe a heads-up?
I appreciate the input. It’s nice as a content creator when the opportunity arises to obtain a piece of equipment like this to add it to our arsenal. My channel by no means is going to become a laser projects channel. Look at the last few videos I’ve done… very basic with minimal materials. It’s a balance… I’ll keep your advice in mind and I do appreciate it.
@@TabletopWitchCRAFTI think I was reacting to another channel getting an awesome piece of kit that I doubt I'll ever get close to! Not jealous, just frustrated by comparison to what I can do with a Proxon Thermocut and a Dremel. Guess I should get my old Photon printer working again!
Keep up the excellent work!
Yeah they are pretty cool but man they are not cheap
The saying… You get what you pay for… applies here!
It’s nifty, but not something that I will ever be able to afford. 😢
$2200. On sale even. Ouch.
😂 that's what I was just thinking.. The small home crafting one is still super expensive too.. $999 😮 smh this is a, use if you got it for free as a sponsor review, type of tool lol
I hear you. If you’re remotely in the market it’s the laser to own. Insane the things you can build with this.
Awesome to start up a home Etsy shop as well. Everyone has their hobby!
For sure. and I have an Etsy shop, but I couldn’t even begin of thinking to get something this expensive. Just not a realistic tool to get with regular real life expenses, etc.
Unsubbed to re sub :-) , this could prob cut/etch into leather as well id say.
I know you have to be careful when burning leather…. I’ll have to look into this.
dibs on the coaster! lol
:)
