One of the funniest athletes to ever play any sport talking about the classiest athlete to play any sport. I love these two men.

Such a great storyteller. Trevino is what golf should be about.

Unbelievably, all of his stories check out; nothing is made up, it's just the way he tells them. Trevino would have made it as a Stand Up Comedian if golf hadn't worked out. The best storyteller on the tour, ever.

I met mim and he was such a gentleman. Looked me in the eyes and spoke to me like we had been friends and Jack did the same thing. I love them both.

Nobody can tell a story like great Lee Buck Trevino. When he talks, we listen.

about 30 years ago, trevino was in austria with watson and norman and they opened the 3rd !!golf course in austria, he said at the opening: the clubhouse looks shit (it was from a well-known architect who was also present).i come with some mexicans and we build something beautiful. haha

I followed him a bunch of times. Entertaining and the man could really really play too.

Arnold Palmer was the only person I ever met that actually radiated...really, he had an orange aura around him.

Was a womanizer. Cheated many times on wife. Supported republicans and terrible things like war in iraq for oil. Not quite the hereo.

I worked as an assistant pro at a course about 18 years ago that hosted a champions tour pro-am early in the week ahead of one of their regular tournaments. Trevino was as happy to tell his stories to the bag kids and wait staff as he was to the head pro's, GM's, and course owners.

LeRoy Nieman painted a picture of Arnie hitting balls on the practice range in heavy rain at Augusta in the 1970's. Standing watching Arnie was Lee Trevino.

AP was such a wonderful man. I was in the US Coast Guard as was Arnie. I sent him a small CG flag and a letter asking if he could sign it and enclosed a signed blank check plus a large return stamped envelope with postage paid on it. I explained I was an ex Coastie myself and lover of golf. He sent it back, signed, and with the blank check enclosed. Class act
