I've used various different toners, serums, but every time I do, I get acne and my skin gets worse. I've been trying for months. Recently, I read someone's feedback and started applying litlexttra rice berry vitamin c face serum. It's doing well, and I don't have pimples issues anymore. My skin appears better than ever. At times, I also use a besan facepack, which makes it glow even more.
This was amazing! I would love a video on in office treatments: from lasers to PRP to microneedling… I’ve heard great things about PRP for these exact concerns. How to combine it w skincare etc Thank you!!
So glad it was helpful! Great idea.. I've actually been working on a few videos for at home treatments (e.g. LED devices, home microneedling... etc), but also can explore office treatments as well!
Its the Medik8 retinal. Its a little pricey, but as an advanced retinoid user - I really like it. Its the step up from retinol, but not as potent as tretinoin. Also you can choose your strength based on how your skin tolerates retinal. go.shopmy.us/p-4622272 If your new to retinoids, then there are beginner retinols that are more budget friendly - so I'd recommend going with these instead.
Really loved this! I essentially figured out my skincare routine on my own through much trial and error and ofc YT videos from real experts like Dr Shaw whom you mentioned as well as other Professionals like Dr.Idriss. I’d say your recommendations are spot on! I have oily acne prone skin with no active acne but few PIH spots left. So this video>>>>> I will say I am a little scared of using adapalene with glycolic acid on the same night, but i’ll try it when I’m feeling brave😂🩵. Thank you so much for the clear instructions and recommendations! Much love Dr.Nurse😉
Go glad it was helpful! I hear you on using your retinoid and glycolic acid on the same night... would only recommend if you're skin tolerates both really well & you've been using both products for a while :) ❣♥
I'm a nurse with a Doctorate degree, not a medical doctor. My training focused on performing complex clinical assessments and improving patient care through the latest scientific evidence. I specialize in translating research into practical recommendations to patient outcomes.
It's giving Dr Vanita Rattan when she used the title "Dr" and presenting herself as a dermatologist while talking about skincare when her medical degree wasn't even in dermatology.
@@sapn19 It's disingenuous to use the Dr in your name while talking about skincare. Others might give you more credibility in terms of product recommendation and think you're a dermatologist. This especially if you're planning on accepting sponsorship and monetising on that fact.
@@jellybeanstalk6 I agree with you to an extent but she does disclose her qualifications in the video intro and description so it’s a bit unfair to call her disingenuous. Unlike Dr. Eric Berg the Chiropractor who never disclosed what type of doctor he was (not even in the description of the video or channel) for a long time while giving all sorts of medical advice. She certainly never said she was a dermatologist and clearly disclosed her qualifications TWICE without us having to leave the video to figure it out.
@@sapn19 In the video she states, "I have my doctorate in nursing which helps me analyze and synthesize all the research to provide you skincare tips, routines and products that actually work" wherein she is using her nursing degree to give her more credibility and authority in a field she doesn't actually have. And in another comment she states, "I specialize in translating research into practical recommendations to patient outcomes", which is super vague and there are people who might not know the difference between the different doctorate degrees and buy into her "product recommendations" based on the authority she is trying to present. This wouldn't be such a big problem if skincare companies weren't making billions of dollars per year and skincare youtubers are making hundreds of thousands of dollars per sponsored ads and videos which she is clearly trying to monetize in. Now don't get me wrong, I still watch and listen to a lot of product recommendations off of skincare enthusiasts on youtube like Tina Tanaka Harris, No BS Beauty, Aliceintherabbithole etc. but they don't try to present themselves as dermatologists; they provide recommendations based off of their own product trials and experiences. Unlike Hyram who had millions of followers on youtube, who would state in each video that he is a "skincare expert" which is actually a made up title with no merit or credibility but he profited off of that authority he created.

HI Christina☺, Do you know how to treat lip pimple scar? Are there any good products recommendations? I had a lip pimple a few months ago and now it has recovered. However, it left a slightly red and dark pimple mark behind. What can I do to lighten it and regain back my orignal lip tone color as lip is a quite sensitive area too? I had tried to use tea tree oil to dap on that lip pimple, it does reduce redness but it doesnt heal and remove the pimple scar tho. 🥲 Hence now I am abit scared of applying any lipstick or lip tint now as I scared it may flare out the pimple too.
Ah to be honest, I've never had a lip pimple scar before. I've had pimples on the edges of my lips. So I just use the same dark spot serums that I apply to the rest of my face to treat those. Sorry if this isn't helpful!

Doctorate in nursing?? How does that work 🤔 are you a nurse or a doctor?

Are you a dermatologist...? How come you use the Dr in your name when talking about skincare?
Check the description 🙄
