Antarctic Blue Whales are Recovering

The Antarctic Blue Whale population was hunted to near extinction during the whaling years of the 18-1900s, with some estimates saying only a few hundred remained at one point. This unfortunately has made studying this species extremely difficult, as its nearly impossible to find them. But by using acoustic buoys to record their calls, researchers believe the population is steadily recovering, and could even be stabilizing. Lets talk about it
