Hi i just wanted to say thank you, i have been living 10 years with footpain and ankle trouble. The Spesialist have not be able to get a correct diagnosis. With the help i get from you i can now i can educate myself enough to finally solve the mystery to why im sick. By this i mean i will be a much better patient, able to communicate better with the docktors. I dont mean i will self diagnose.

Thank u so much! Now I know what my heel pain was exactly. I thought it was plantar fasciitis but I think it’s baxter’s nerve compression.

In this pathology a very good diagnostic tool is neurodynamic test of tibial specified SLR.

I had a muscle moved back in placed, that moved from arch to heel... Above heel fat pad I had a cluster of varicose viens that were cortisoned , I have over a 2 inch scar about 15 stitches... On codeine.. Not sure as yet if it has worked, still healing process.

All good thank you.. Just ran my first run 5 weeks post op. They found a muscle had moved under my arch to heel, above heel pad a cluster of varicose viens, creating nerve entrapment. 30 min op turned into a 1:30 hour op... My surgeon said its a mess, no wonder I'd been in pain running/racing for 7 years. I did 10k yesterday, my fastest in 7 years, no pain at all, first time in a long time.scar tissue feels a bit tight, had 15 stitches, keeping it well. Moisturised. I was meant to elevate for 3 weeks but I didn't I had 3 days off the back to work as a hairdresser, just had a shoe on and codeine. Just stopped codeine now after 4 weeks

@@frillysilly ah wow- I’m having surgery tomorrow. It’s bilateral and identical so will end up having to have another surgery if sucessful fingers crossed. Did they see anything on MRI or ultrasound before the surgery or was it going in blind?

What if your doctor says you just have mild arthritis but your fractures have self-healed, and surgery probably won't help? How can I convince my doctor that mild arthritis shouldn't feel like your feet and button and hips and back are being steamrolled or trash compacted every single time you stand or walk for more than 2 minutes? Doesn't mild arthritis result in milf pain, not severe pain?

I have been having pain ,burning and tingling on my heels. I have lower back pain and piriformis nerve on my right butt. When I walk less pain but when I sitting down start burning on my heels and swelling in my feet ( at night). So I don’t know what cause of it

I am suffering from heel pain. I have received three cortisone shots, tried acne puncturing, physical therapy, walking boot and laser therapy. My podiatrist says it’s planter fasciitis but per my symptoms it’s not. My feet hurts when put my shoes or boots and it gradually increases. If I’m standing or driving it increases. Any comments will be appreciated.

Google Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome. They seem to all be interrelated. I have exactly the same, burning pain becomes more a deep pain on standing and can't wear trainer/track shoes as padding around ankle fires it up.

I had plantar fascia release surgery and the relief was wonderful. However, it has come apparent that Baxter nerve may have been a secondary pain obscured from before.

I recently had plantar fasciotomy surgery I’m 2 months post op and i still have so much pain. Now I’m wondering if i had Baxter’s nerve instead of plantar fasciitis. What. Now?

I had surgery for Baxter's nerve entrapment. They did a nerve decompression but it didn't help. I saw Dr. Mark Easley at Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC
