Grazi! To my ears, the K2 sounds nicer in audio quality ("smoother" or "mellow") compared to the KX2. Yet, the KX2 seemed to have a noticeable advantage in sensitivity/signals heard. There is a generation of design and componentry between them. I do love the idea of building a K2 myself as it seems to be the last of the analogue (non-SDR) rigs out there worth investing in. 73 de M0NJX
You have the KX2 on top of a towel covering the K-2 speaker?
The K2 has a cloth covering the speaker.
Ciao Ale,
K2 seems to be not at same frequency. K2 is not a "zero beat".
That's what's it looks like to me.
Ciao Alex, grazie per il videotest. 73 de ik2rgv
Did you tried on "zero beat" function during the test for both machine at the same time?

K2 is tuned to 14.0154 MHz, KX2 tuned to 14.016 and then to 14.0155 MHz.
I love my KX2 and I dont own a K2. Maybe I should.
KX2 💪💪💪💥💣🔋📻🎧📡
What are the sizes of the speakers in the K2 and KX2?
...not much difference, about the same, but kx2 is on the k2 speaker
Why don't you put them on the same frequency?
The signal for k2 is little bit down

Si il K2 non è perfettamente centrato,ma sicuramente il bassissimo rumore di fondo del K2 è tutt'oggi difficilmente arrivabile!
