I found this video very helpful, but I have a KX3. I figured that I should be able to use some or all of the information even though the buttons are a little different. Thank you for the information. I am just about ready to go on the air with CW. The information in this video will make my start to the journey easier. 73
I was looking at purchasing the KX2 when I found a used KX3 available. I had to clean it up to get it working. One of the things that will really help me is your explanation of the EQ adjustments to help clarify the CW signal.
While you are in the RX EQ menu setting ,you can hit the mode button to the upper right from the VFO knob to will switch between SSB and CW right in the menu. The KX2 lets you save different RX EQ settings for both SSB and CW. Glad I could help!

Thank you and I think the eq helped with CW more than i would have thought. I have mine set for SSB so looks like I need to make a change.
