To this day, watching blackouts rotor stop suddenly in transformers will always put a smile on my face. Easily one of my favorite parts from the movie
The reason CGI is worse now than it was at many of these times is that companies are paying the CGI artists way less, cutting down their teams way more, and giving them unreasonably small time scales to get it all done.
All while executives who have no knowledge of how CGI art works make nonsensical demands last minute that the artist won't be paid for.
Being an older fella, I waited for years for a Transformers movie and when me and my son went to watch it when it came out at the theater I was absolutely blown away! When the propeller stopped spinning and folded back I was like oh no here it comes. And it was amazing I love that movie

Every transformation in the first Transformers film was absolutely incredible. I still remember being completely gobsmacked when I watched it in the cinema.
I’m so happy American werewolf is number one. Because of this, Michael Jackson asked John landis to help him make thriller.
And I know it’s not a movie, but I like the wolf transformation in ‘Hemlock Grove’ too.

Those that have seen the movie know just how hilarious that line really was!!
You did your research. Good job on not getting Blackout confused with Grindor. Both look exactly the same (literally their only differences are height and Blackout is slightly darker in color than Grindor) so it's easy for them to be confused. To make it easy, Blackout is in Transformers 1, while Grindor is in Revenge of the Fallen.
Honorable mention should go to any and every transformation of Lon Chaney in his many silent movies. The special effects were top-notch for the day. And Chaney's acting as well as the painful contortions he would endure to make each monster come alive...all combined make Lon Chaney a movie monster legend forever!!
weird to include beauty and the beast and transformers in multiple slots yet not include iconic horror transformations like The Thing or The Fly or Sliver or The Exorcist all were practical effects or for modern cgi include Venom
I get the impression the video creator is fairly young. Including venom would've made sense, though.

Theoden's transformation was the reverse playing of his makeup being applied. He had to make the same facial expressions as his makeup was being applied.
The Sandman transformation from Spider-Man 3 was pretty awesome.
Practical effects that were done correctly will always be more impactful than any CGI-based ones.
I remember when my pops and I watch the blackout scene with all home surround sound and all the little sounds and noises that helicopter makes transforming.👌🏻 so badass
Why did I not see captain Barbosa on this list? The scene when he steps out into the moonlight and turns into a walking corpse was superb

The first transformers movie showed so much promise. It’s hard to believe how badly it went wrong so quickly.
Say what you want about Transformers movies, but you can see how much fun the mechanical animators had when animating every single transformations. These days, you don't often see animation that looked like it was made by someone who actually had fun doing it.
i remember being a fan of Michael J Fox's transformation in the first teen wolf when he was playing in the basketball game.
What about Gerald Butler being Stoic the Vast in How to Train Your Dragon?!
Manimal 1983 - animal transformations insane for its time. Daredevil in agents of shield vesion is also pretty cool.
You didn't even mention The Howling's transformation scene, it is definitely the second best werewolf transformation of all time.

Dude, the Transformers transformations are just visual chaos. As are the fights. Only the first one was fairly decent.
Yeah. They obviously needed to make the designs more realistic than the toys to work on film, but they went so far the transformers look like clouds of bits.

I think you might've considered Seth Brundle's (Jeff Goldblum) film-long transformation into "The Fly" for this list. Also, you need to watch "The Howling" for Eddie Quist's(Robert Picardo) werewolf transformation as it's almost on the same level as "An American Werewolf in London." And, I'm sorry, but Lupin's transformation in "The Prisoner of Azkaban" wasn't a very good werewolf transformation. Not so much the effects of the transformation, itself...but that skinny...horrible werewolf design he changed into. Could've used any werewolf transformation from the Underworld series as a replacement on the list.

Transformations is the main thing about this video and he completely fucked that up, I could forgive one scene but this is way overused. The title should be 25 transformed creatures in movies

I also hate that style for the werewolf form, amazing transformation into.....an angry naked mole rat?! Why was he so skinny as well as didn't have a ton of fur??!?! One of the few things I dislike about my favorite Harry Potter film.

Devastator was terrible if your a fan from the animated series. With the already failing story his transformation into an odd dinosaur cross whatever that was meant to be.

This was a good list until you added the disney crap. You either never seen or even cared about the scene in the first Hellraiser where the brother escapes hell by being reanimated from slime to a skinless human.

Are you just paying tribute to the narrators bad joke? You obviously know nothing about the story at all. The system "LOCKED" him in. There was no way to get him out once the sequence began. It was tragic. Not cold-blooded choice. Personally, I think his joke was stupid and juvenille.

I remember following Cinema Sins for a while, and found myself getting more and more annoyed at the string of errors they made until I discovered an independant video that showed the two of them discussing "How to create Clickbait" and it hinged not on taking an opinion of a story and stating your idea but more on purposefully saying things that were totally contradictory to the story to generate a 'click' by getting people to attempt to correct their intentionally false statements. I hope TV Regent isn't following in their shoes.

The multiple bayformers entries completly screw this over. The designs that they come up with are just vomit from a junk drawer. So many more better designs from the original animated series and subsequent shows.

If your take away from Salma Hayek's scene in From Dusk 'Til Dawn is the "cool" transformation, you need to get your eyes checked. She was and still is one of the most beautiful women who's ever lived and that bikini was amazing.

Missed out on Hellboy with the were-jaguar transformation. One of the best ever, yes CG, but damn it's near perfect.
