`Which system would you prefer - Deity Theos, Sennheiser G4 or the Rode Wireless Pro and why?

This is a comprehensive review, and very helpful. Many thanks.
Thanks mate) stay tuned?)
Very thorough analysis. Thank you for putting this video together.
Thanks mate) stay tuned)
Most detail Deity Theos video so far.. Good job 👍🏼
Thanks mate) stay tuned!
Pretty solid kit. Worth getting when getting more serious although DJI Mic hasn't faced any problem yet. Might get the new DJI Mic version when it gets internal 32-float. Great review as always. Keep those unique reviews coming!
Thanks mate)) I appreciate it! Stay tuned)
Thanks a thorough review. I'm minded to buy one soon.
Thanks) stay tuned!
Sennheiser EW 512P G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System (AW+: 470 to 558 MHz) specifically for Switzerland and Germany. It doesn’t work. The signal was interfered. I when there two times. The second time no matter how I synchronized and manually find the frequency it still doesn’t work. The Sennheiser representative didn’t do anything or seemed to help. It is out of warranty.
A question about the timecode, can it be send it to the camera or its just for the sd recording? how that works exactly?
It’s for the recordings mostly, you can check the exact info on deity website and deity UA-cam channel
The cool thing is that you can buy a TC-1 Time generator from Deity and it will synchronize with every of the Theos system. It's really handy if you get out of RF range as it keeps the recording in sync with the cameras just in case.
I’ve been trying to get some clarifications from Deity for weeks but no answers till now. You answered 80% of my questions so thank you very much! I hope the remaining 20% can be answered.
1. Repositioning antennas at a certain angle can be done using a screwdriver or is there anything else?
Thanks in advance!
Welcome mate)) I think you'd better wait for the deity answer, because I'm uncertain about it))
At least you answered and thanks for that again! Might never get an answer
@@jbe1official welcome mate, stay tuned!
The Deity lav mic sounds really nice tbh
The Rode one has some weird boost around 2-2.5khz which I don't like.
It also picks up more room than the Deity.
thx for this review
Welcome)
Heck I'm impressed that you actually picked one. Some folks always saying well they are good, and it depends on your work situation. why do the video compare products if you not goanna chose one. I thank you for picking one.
which one is bigger size?TX Sennheiser g4? or TX deity???...its possible to combine TX SENNHEISER with RX DEITY?
More or less the same size) no, you can’t pair deity and sennheiser
ihave the rode wireless pro at the moment and will upgrade to the theos because i loose sometimes the signal in interviews, meaning the person is sometimes only 2m away from the camera but in construction halls etc. the signal can get lost very fast. 32bit internal recording always safed the day but i want to have more control, and the rode app etc is just horrible. i had the dji mic before and everything was so easy to use and then i was shocked about the rode workflow. But thb the Theos workflow is also totally strange. no record an stop botton inside? digging through menus simply sucks sorry deity
I purchased two sets of the previous version of this product and am very disappointed, very often the connection is lost when I connect two sets at the same time (4 loops, two receivers), there is absolutely no detailed information about use anywhere, since it turns out that those USBs that you show are used for connecting to a computer serve to distribute the network between receivers, yes, they have recording on cards, but if you don’t turn it off after each recording, the saving process is long, the connectors (in) on the receivers are very weak and in a short period I had to resolder (((in a word, I’ve already I’m very skeptical and, as for me, the g4 is a very efficient workhorse. By the way, I see these long antennas and understand that it looks like they haven’t fully resolved the signal issue yet.
@@a2media.production what product do you mean ? the theos or the rode
shame, it is the size that makes it hard to choose for hiding the packs in different places on people and also for gimbal use on camera, great review thanks
I subscribed
Thanks mate))
Have you tested this in an urban environment?
Well, isn’t this mall an urban environment?😅
@@NOlimitsONit’s technically suburban, urban would be like a dense downtown with building taller than 3-4 stories
@@felipeandjess a shopping mall is usually multi stories right, super dense building
So for clarity, no the US version is bared from recording and transmitting simultaneously entirely no matter where in the world the kit is being used.
The full detailed info is on deity’s website. Please check it for max detail
You can't compare a professional UHF system to a consumer 2.4 GHZ system.
As you saw - I can)
Actually, this is quite helpful as it demonstrates what the actual performance difference is for people that want to know the real advantages of a UHF system other than being 'professional'.
Batteries in 2024 !seriously ??? Forget it !
batteries are actually more professional as you can swap out and not have to sit and recharge the product if the battery is dead. more continouis use
It’s the industry standard mate)
I agree. Rode really needs to allow for interchangeable batteries @@NOlimitsON
Haha, you don'tknow what youre talking about. Can you tell me how a wireless electronic item can work without batteries? replaceablke batteries are the BEST option. Well done Deity.
