    a while back, i hit a point where i felt like everything was out of my control. i kept wondering why other people seemed to get what they wanted while i was stuck in the same place. then i came across this book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane. i wasn’t expecting much, but the way it explains the connection between your energy and the life you create? it blew my mind. it’s not just a book, it’s like a blueprint for turning your life around.

    I love people who mix high and low end buys. I agree about splurging on a nice robe and coat. They are things that you will use for years and are quality of life upgrades.

      I love that "quality life upgrades" - this video has me writing down more things that do that + even things that are free that do that, too.

    Loved this, Amanda! I, too love the Baccarat Rouge Parfum, Spanx, and the Mason Peasrson hair brush. All so worth their weight in gold! I’m a huge believer in mixing high end & low end as well. It works well for me anyway! Also, I, too wear the same jewelry everyday! 😉

    I love bond number nine Greenwich Village perfume. It’s fresh, but it has a warm praline note that I love.

    Love this topic!! I would add also silk pillowcases, good hair treatments at home, a microcurrent device, pressotherapy machine at home, good coffee machine, and beautiful daily things such as coffee mugs, agenda, lipstick, ...

      YESS! I have my coffee machine on the list of things too. I have a microcurrent device but don't use it as often as I should, you've motivated me to start again!

    Great list! For me, the Mason Pearson brush is totally worth it! I've had mine for years! Love the bristles on my scalp. I feel like it helps condition and distribute natural hair oils too.
    Thanks for the Spanx reminder! I live in Ohio, but am in the process of purchasing for a 2nd home (Florida). Will definitely picking up more Spanx. What's your favorite workout shoe, top, etc?

      @@AmandaJohn Oh my! I've already purchased both from your previous links but had to send the cloudnovas back. I use the Hokas mostly for walking. I didn't find either to be great for agility, which is part of that I was looking for, but love the Hokas! I rely on your channel more than others for comfortable workout gear that is practical and looks good too!

    • @AmandaJohn
      @AmandaJohn  13 днів тому +1

      @@melishamcalister1570 The HOKAS are definitely good for walking but not so much for workouts/quicker movements since they're so cushioned. I've been loving my lululemon pair when I want my feet to feel more locked in - they were also good for running because they really support the foot from pronating and ankle (you can't slip these on without unlacing them) - Here's the link bit.ly/4fRxBqD

    Creed Aventus for Her perfume. I tested (for myself) Bacarat and Creed Aventus for Her (there were probably others) but those were the winners. For two days in Vegas I tested them and the Creed Aventus for Her won hands down ON ME. You should see if you like it.

    Haha yesterday my colleague described me as “low key bougie”. I also like to mix high and low, but tend to splurge on items that are not necessarily in your face… and I try to opt for quality over quantity.
    Great video and I enjoyed being surprised with what was on your list!

    Hey there! Great video! On the redlight face mask - I noticed yours is the "men" version, is there a reason why you chose that once vs the contour option? Also, another AMAZING product is the Revision Lip Replenisher that you have recommended! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE that product!!!

    • @AmandaJohn

      The men’s has a little stronger wave length to go a little deeper so I figured why not!

    The return policy at Lululemon has changed they no longer accept returns on the wear. I was told that the align fabric is delicate and I shouldn’t be doing cross training in them.

    • @AmandaJohn
      @AmandaJohn  15 днів тому +2

      WHAT! That's such a bummer. To me that style is more for lounging in / wearing around vs working out but they should back up their product more. I wonder if they still say they're good for low impact like barre / pilates because they would get the same wear and tear from washing over and over.

    Amanda, Can you please speak to the smoothing effect of those Spanx vs the Lulu Align? Regarding cellulite etc. I’ve found no other dupe that smooths like the align. I’m a 6 but there is still stuff that needs smoothing. Thanks!!!

    • @AmandaJohn
      @AmandaJohn  14 днів тому +2

      To me, the Spanx are way more smoothing and slimming all around. I wear the align strickly for comfort/lounging and I wear the spanx for errands, workouts, walks, etc. They are completely different fabrics. The align is a thicker/warmer feel and the spanx is a thin/athletic feel. But the spanx have more compression to them and the lines are really flattering, plus no center seam to cause a camel situation

    i remember this one night i was scrolling aimlessly, feeling like i had hit rock bottom. it felt like nothing i wanted was ever going to happen for me. i don’t know why, but i clicked on this link about the book Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and something about it drew me in. the more i read, the more i felt like it was written just for me. it’s wild how much a single book can change your perspective.

    so there was this period in my life when i kept attracting the wrong people, wrong opportunities, everything just felt…off. i couldn’t figure out why it kept happening. then one day, a friend mentioned a book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, saying it helped them see the patterns they didn’t even realize they had. i decided to give it a read, and wow, it opened my eyes to how much my own energy was shaping my life. seriously, this book is something else.

  • @bfgaditya2581

    i used to think manifesting was all about repeating affirmations and hoping for the best. i tried it for months and…nothing. i was so frustrated. then i heard about this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and how it breaks down the science and energy behind manifestation. it’s like it flipped a switch in my brain. once i started applying what i learned, things started falling into place like never before. worth checking out if you’re serious about manifesting.
