Out of all the portable pellet grill videos ive seen in the last 3 days. Your the 1st one to use a measureing tape for its grill space.

I agree with everything you said. I have both of them and love them both at the Ranger does seem to be a little better. As for the vents on the back of the tailgater I purchased REC-TEC covers for mine. Don’t know if they’re still available or not.

Man as I see these review and prices I'm stoked I got a pitboss for $140 clearance sale from Walmart today and in so excited to use it now I've been grilling for years now and smoking with pallets was always cheating but hey as I'm aging little bit of cheating don't hurt to win 😅 and who can beat 140 I payed that for charcoal b4 wow Walmart thanks 😊

What are the dimensions on the tailgater when legs are folded up? And what are the dimensions of the main grill grate on the tailgater ?

The legs didn't stay long on mine either. Hated them!

Will the tailgate fit under a bed cover in a pick up? With or without the legs?

Damn, bro - you're going cost me another $60. That front tray for the Tailgater (I still think it should have been Tailgator, lol) looks like it would be pure luxury. I didn't know it existed until this video.
That may help you create another video based on accessories for the grills that are out there, what you've used or would like to use. Here's hoping that even more Tailgater accessories I didn't know I needed will come out - like a block for the one vent, and an actual pipe-vent for the far one with a rain protector. I know that may defeat some of the purpose of the portability, but for those of us who use the tailgater for the home and family, it might be worthwhile. I've even briefly considered blocking the one vent, cutting the other open to be more round, and then welding on a normal vent pipe onto it - not really because of rain in my current location, but to see if that would make the smoke pass by the brisket more before going out. If Traeger came up with a removeable vent stack system, that would be cool.

I don’t currently own any Grilla Grills. One of my sons has the chimp, and I sold my Silverbac to a family friend.
