- Adventure bikes are running the show! And there has been a slew of those in the more affordable range. Zontes from China is one of the newer entrants, with a range of new adventure bikes in the 300-400 cc segment. And yes, the Zontes 350T ADV has made an appearance or two on Car&Bike, but this time around, it goes up against the BMW G 310 GS, its closest rival. The BMW is a proven small-capacity ADV while Zontes is new and still finding its feet in the segment. Here’s our comprehensive comparison review of the two.

I dunno how is there, but in europe, BMW G310GS cost 7000€ VS 5390 of Zontes. If you take care of what Zontes offer more than the mini GS (that offer ZERO in terms of accessories and features), there is no comparison. Sure, Zontes need to prove it's reliability and affordability. But, basing only on papers, there is no competition. :)

I haven't test rode the zontes but if you say the current GS engine is slightly better than the zontes than I can only imagine how bad it will be.

the zontes 350t has only traveled 434 km and is already all rusty like that?
The motorcycles from the press fleet are used by journalists from many, many publications. So, there is a decent bit of abuse. Age starts showing earlier. But you do have sharp eye.

How many support bmw
I like zontes over gs because zontes has my heart, sure rusti g would be a big issue as we can see in the video but once a person gets used to rhe machine then nothing mattets. Zontes looks much bulkier and offers expensive looks and feel. Gs is a great bike for sure but still it would be more expensive when it comes to spare parts and service
Mi experience is diferent whit conduction, because the zontes feel very good in trail and better in the aceleration, breaks and curves! I DONT KNOW IF THE GS is made for TVS indian for these reason You hace a favorite position to the BMW than is not true! compare GS310 & Vstrom SX
Those who are choosing bmw, haven't searched on its service cost yet...its every service cost around 7-8k...and sometimes even 25k if you have some issue, i watched an ownership review..where he had spent more on bmw service than on buying the bike itself...
SIMPLE: HYPER MECHANIC concern to change the ZONTES suspension to BMW GS then all Rounder bike is ZONTES.. with safe zone (money)
I outright rejected gs310 due its stone age instrument cluster and lack of features that to with high cost + high service costs, whereas found Zontes to be decent value for money based on my test ride! KTM 390 is a great choice inthis segment but marred by pathetic low end grunt which is a must for Indian traffic conditions
Could we say this is an incomplete comparison or biased comparison? I don't mean to be harsh, but it seems the comparison was made mainly by just looking at the spec sheets, something that anyone can do at home without a "tryout". To give the zontes a win basically only because of the features package ignoring the HUGH importance of reliabilty, durability and potential is a bit lacking from your part as reviewers. Perhaps at this point it would have been better to not have had "a winner"? I did enjoy the content, I just didn't feel the conclusions were from a professional perspective/helpful or insightful.
