thank you 😊❤️
are we gonna ignore the fact that her bed folds into the wall???? like wtf i want that 🥺🥺🥺
i love it! but i never fold it up because my friends don’t visit me 😂
These are common in many NYC small apartments. I want a wall bed. Look up “Murphy Beds”.
hey it's anne - LOL
omg your bed is epic!!! and your place is so cute n cozy
thank you!!💞 i never flip my bed up but it’s definitely cool having that option haha
Now wait a minute! How can I request a place with this kind of bed? I'm planning to move next year.
$430?!?! Guess I’m going to be your new neighbor sis lmao
That makes two of us
Ms_BlackAngel 😂😂

You’re from Texas!! I’m also from Texas and I’m moving to Korea soon to teach English!
howdy! 🤠 congratulations! hope you enjoy your experience and time here in korea!
Hi there Anne. You decorated your apartment in a beautiful way. it looks very calm. I live just outside of Seoul. I love showing people simple recipes that you can cook in Korea using Korean ingredients if you are interested. have a great week. God Bless 🇰🇷🇬🇧❤️
thank you so much! and your channel looks amazing!! will definitely be trying out those almond butter cookies 😍
@@heyitsanne thanks
I’m from El Paso!! I instantly subscribed! I’ve been wanting to move/visit Korea for so long and this just gave me a huge motivation boost! ❤️

Ugh! So love your place! I can't wait to have the same thing 😍 And your voice, they're right. So relaxing.
thank you so much! ❤️
I'm happy to see that you have more of a modern apartment in Korea, especially the bathroom. I've seen some Korean apartment tours where the apartments were pretty jacked up😂
Your apartment is so lovely❤ and well organized and I didn't expect that remote controller bed! You look absolutely stunning✨😍
thank you!
i’m in love with your apartment😍 i find it so cool that your bed hides in the wall and you have the “stylist” or the machine that sanitizes your clothing!
thank you so much! and yes, i love my bed but i rarely ever put it up 😂
your voice is so calming! i love your apartment its so cozy :))
aw thank you so much 💕
💙🌸💙Your apartment is lovely modern clean and I like how you decorated and omg never seen bed like that! Big hugs❤️🌸❤️🌸

This was a very very detailed video. I love you have the eucalyptus in the shower its amazing!
thank you!
I love how detailed you are ❤️
thank you!!
I will be moving (fingers crossed) to Korea soon and I really like how your room is set up. It’s how I’d like mine to be set up (although idk what kind of accom. I’d get).
loved this tour so much. Your new apartment is so cute! I recently did my own apartment tour in South Korea. Your bills are about the same as mine right now. anyways loved the video! and thanks for the links to your chair! I was looking for some furniture and I'm going to look at the site you provided.
thank you so much! and yes, that site is amazing!!
I saw your BETO sticker in your old apartment tour vid but then to hear you're actually from EP is crazy! I'm also from EP so it's so exciting to see fellow El Pasoans in South Korea doing the EPIK program! I apply next year :)
howdy 🤠👋🏾 good luck with the process!!!
Thanks for the tour. All I could suggest is vertical storage for your desk and maybe over the door storage pouches etc.
miss maam. I need to live here lmaooooo. a bidet, already has a bed, western shower and isnt gloomy?? best korea oficetel tour ive seen!! I will be hitting you up when im apporved :)
such a great apartment...you have fantastic taste. Incredible value and technology. Great video, thanks for sharing
thank you!
Oooo I've been wanting like forever to see your apartment haha! It's so nice! Yeah that would've been so much nicer if that wall was magnetic or something? Love those separation bags wow, I need those for my officetel haha ... Your bed is super cool too 😳 Maybe some little plants in those bed shelves or little souvenirs from traveling?
right?! i was really hoping to collect magnets and put them there! and i was thinking of putting plants in the shelves above my bed, but not much light gets there... souvenirs are a great idea! just need to do some more traveling haha
Love the apartment. Looks so cozy!
thank you!
Frame those water pictures, there are so beautiful
thank you!
wow, you're so beautiful! I clicked on this video assuming it would be a montage type of tour and was surprised by you ^.^
thank you so much! ❤️
I was in Sejong City from March 2017 to February 2018 for a faculty exchange program with the Korea University of Media Arts (near Kongju). How the city most have changed by now 😊
I love the timbre of your voice. Stay safe!
things have definitely changed! sejong is slowly growing more and more which is exciting!
I'm moving into an officetel in Sejong tomorrow! Thank you for this!! 🙏🙏🙏
congratulations! i hope you love sejong 🥳❣️
OMG YOURE FROM EL PASO. i immediately subscribed. i have been wanting to move to korea since 2014 and luckily i am graduating with my bachelors next year at 19 so hopefully i can go teach in korea!❤️ btw your voice is so soothing
hiiiiii 🤠 aw, thank you so much! and good luck, i hope everything goes well!!
Yes Hair! and I need help finding a place for when I move there soon. If I could find a place like this... that would be amazing!!
Loveee this apartment! 😍
Beautiful place! So aesthetically pleasing!
thank you!!
Off topic but you’re so pretty and I love your voice
aww thank you so much! 💞
I can’t believe you said faucet 😭.. it’s a tap 🤣🤣. I LOVE your apartment and think the price is reasonable I’m staying in an officetel and the used to all the things you mentioned. I’m lazy to look for another place I’m so comfortable 😭.. I’m coming to sleep on that sofa
i should have seen that one coming 🤣 and yesss the sofa bed has your name all over it haha
Hi El Paso! I am from Albuquerque. I lived in South Korea for 3 years teaching English. This is one of the nicest places I have seen! My second place was above a noribong and it was loud and always hot! It is odd that your school did not provide you with furniture. I wish I could have lived in a place like this! So nice!
hi, neighbor! this apartment wasn't provided by my school, i actually moved from my previous apartment (i have another video of that one on my channel). it had furniture and all the things that were in the contract haha
I love seeing how many apartments have built in storage and other furniture. It must make moving so much easier not having to own so many things, assuming you like the style. Is there a product like command hooks available where you are? Might be nice for that tall empty space.
i totally agree! it's nice to not have many items but korea is the land of cuteness and cheap items, so it's very easy to hoard things in a year 😅 there are, and i've now actually added some to hold my wallet and mask for easy access!
Here in Germany one also has to pay for heating of other apartments: by law the expenses have to be charged by the size of apartments between 30% and 50% and only a max. of 70% is charged due to consumption.
The reason is that in an apartment building the warmth one apartment is producing will also warm the adjacent apartments. Thus, even if the tenant of one apartment decides not to put on the heating to save money he/she will benefit from the warmth of adjacent apartments. The adjacent apartments will cool down and the tenants of adjacent apartments will have to spend more money to keep their apartments warm. Therefore it is just fair that a part of the expenses is not charged due to consumption but by size.
aboniki for de win o! I miss my officetel! It was in the boondocks, though, so maybe that was why we didn't have to sort trash? ooh, look at all that tech and storage; guess I'll look for something similar for next year! Love the aesthetics, though!
lucky! i’m already tired of sorting the trash and it hasn’t even been a month 😅
You have a really cute apartment! I suggest you put a soft music in the background. Just a suggestion! Overall, good video! :)
thank you! 😊
Love you!!! Love your Apartment
thank you!
Oooo I recognize those paintings from an artist who does tutorials. Once the art bug has you, it’s over 😂. The place came together nicely♥️🌼
so true! and yes, i love following along to beginner friendly tutorials on youtube to learn different techniques 😄
You did a really good job on the watercolor paintings!
thank you!! ☺️
You are so beautiful and the way you talk is sooo soothing.. 😍
😊 thank you!
I loooooovvvveeeee what you did with her apartment! Your apartment is similar to mine, You're right!
thank youuu! 💛
You're *** sorry lool
You have a LOT of useful tips.
thank you!
Beautiful apartment. Love the tour. Compare to living in South Corea and US which country is the most expensive for you?
Thanks for replying to me.💕
Absolutely love your apartment!! You don't need any help at all, keep doing your thing!! 😉 You mentioned that you're paying for your own wifi. What plan are you on and how much does it cost? And also what is the cost of your cellphone plan/how much data are you getting? 😀
thank you!! i got my wifi set up with kt olleh (same company i use for my cell phone plan.) i'm not exactly sure what the plan is specifically because my landlord contacted kt for me 😅 but i do know it was 40,000 won for the first month (plus the set up fee) and after that it's 15,000 won every month. they set up a modem and my router (which i previously bought for 15k-19k at homeplus). super convenient and relieved all my stress of trying to figure it out on my own for 3 days lol
my cell phone is a bit tricky to explain. since i bought a new phone when i arrived here, i had to get a 2 year data plan. i'm on the cheapest plan (3 gb of high speed data a month, when the 3 gb runs out then i have unlimited data of a slower speed which tbh doesn't feel super different). that plan is 33k-36k per month) BUT because i'm also still paying off my phone, my phone bill is typically 86,000 won a month. definitely possible to find 1 year phone plans!
Beautiful apartment.
thank you!
The apartment is super cute, but I want to know what you're knitting! (Fellow knitter here, I always get excited when I see other young people knit too.)
thank you! and it was meant to be a super long scarf, but i started it off too wide. i actually haven’t touched it in a few months so i may start it over, so i’m motivated to finish it!
that desk you have with another table extension is really good! may I know where you bought it?
it’s included in the apartment
Nice apartment! I also moved in March to Songtan.
Really Help Thank you
love your new space!!
thank you!
That closet next to the door is for the shoes... other countries in Asia , they do not take off the shoes.
Your voice is great!
thank you!
I love it❤️😊
oh my gawsh i can't wait to live alone!!!!!!
it’s so nice living alone!! but i do miss my siblings 🥺
This look! So cute!!!!
thank you!!
@@heyitsanne 💕loved the idea of having the eucalyptus in the shower!
Do they change Nigeria money or Nigeria money is changed to USD before won
Aboliki gang rise up 😭 Just gave me so many memories of having my mom rubbing it on my leg when I had a cramp
What do you do if you are a student and don’t wanna live in goshiwon/goshitel but also don’t have any money saved up for Key deposit?...
what a great video wow
glad you enjoyed it!
hey great vid! when using a realtor, do you need to pay them for their service?
yes, 9:48 :)
Oh God i wanted to change my apartment but after hearing the fees involved? Miss me😂 I'm stuck with this purple flower wallpaper for another year😭
😭😭 doesn’t hurt to look around what’s in your area! my city happens to just be a little pricey unfortunately ☹️
I live in sejong city too:) nice to meet you😁😁😁
nice to meet you too ^^
Did you by any chance rent this apartment to Lewantube? Cuz i saw that she moved to an apartment that looks verrrryyyy similar 😍
Hey sis! I spotted ur gel cleanser , how good is it? Cos I just got it for my face.
it’s really good, i love it!
The styler seems like it’s a personal dry cleaner which I can understand when you really need it would be great. Also, imma need you to keep food in your fridge cause you didn’t have any last time either lol 😂 you better be eating
you’re the worst 🤣 i’m eating, i promise hahaha
hey it's anne I’m the best because I could’ve been trying to embarrass you on every video instead of randomly. Your welcome love ❤️😂
Hi i live in Sejong city too. Nice meet you!!!
nice to meet you, too!!
I liked your story! thank you. are you allowed to apartment hunt on your own or do you HAVE to use a real estate person? Is there listings in news papers or on bulletin boards? seems they really have a handle on charging fees rite? lol I am in Canada so much much less drama to get a place. and may I please ask why there are no clothes dryers there? I see built in drying racks and heated rooms to dry clothes, why not dryers? I am curious. thank you. best of luck to you
thank you! it’s more common to use a realtor. you can find listings on the apps i mentioned or on naver (basically like the korean version of google? lol) and yes, the fees they charge will always be there. i wasn’t aware of their fees until after the fact since my co-teacher was the one communicating on my behalf, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time
korean homes (usually apartments) typically don’t have dryers because they take up lots of space and energy. some lucky ones have them built into the washing machine! mine unfortunately does not 😔lol
Dang girl you have a bidet? That's a fancy apartment~
yeahhhhhhh come visit meeeeeeeee
How is having a long distance relationship while teaching and living in Korea? Does it negatively affect your relationship? How did he feel about your decision to teach in Korea? Does he visit you in Korea?
i have 2 videos on my channel talking about long distance relationships and one of them is with him :) he hasn’t been able to visit me yet, thanks to the virus :(
@@heyitsanne thanks so much for your answer
Bae Korean street fashion hit you so hard! I thought the school sponsored the apartments.
they do! i decided to look for an apartment different from the one my school gave me so i can be closer. i have a video about the apartment my school provided on my channel as well!
Luv ur apt. I want that bed.
thank you!
It looks really nice! I didn’t expect there a remote controller for the bed haha
Btw is this vinyl flooring or real wood?
thank you haha! i think it’s vinyl flooring
are coteachers always supposed to help with moving stuff, or is yours just super nice?
it's voluntary, and i have many friends that their co-teachers didn't help in their moving processes. she's the absolute sweetest; i really lucked out!
Ooh, I’ve wondered how the moving process goes here in korea or how you go about finding an apartment 😳. Did your coteacher or school help you move or did you have to hire someone yourself? And omg your bathroom! All I want here is to take a shower and not get the entire bathroom wet 😭
my main co-teacher helped me put all my things into her car and unload everything into my new apartment. it took around 3 hours 😅 it's nice having a shower but sometimes i miss the simple wet bathroom haha!
@@heyitsanne Ahh true, it is very convenient for cleaning the bathroom heh heh ^_^
Jochiwon is in Sejong City? But you moved to Sejong City? so confused 😅
that's a very nice and big aprt. mine's a one room so less storage and about 2/3 the size yours.
my apt is by the BRT line as well. it's definitely convenient. yes, utilities are based on the average of everyone. my utilities since i've been in Sejong have been between 60k-112k. i'd definitely have it lower cause i don't even need to turn my on-floor heating on. i'm in a good spot apparently and the heat from other apts is enough that i am good. of course, summer time, i need that AC so it would probably be high.
jochiwon is a town in sejong city (the province). the province is called "sejong city" even though the actual city is also called "sejong city." it's very confusing 😅 but yeah, SUPER convenient being on the brt line!
I’m over here converting the currency and I’ve determined that I should move to Korea 😭
Considering transportation, is it still more expensive living in the officetel?
not really! even though i now walk to school and don’t use the bus as often as i used to, transportation is extremely affordable in korea
Sejong city?
Where did you get your mini ring light and your shower filter?
thank you for reminding me lol! i just added the links to the description box 😊
hey it's anne thank you. Were you able to use this in your first korean apartment?
zioneamonie yes, i used the same shower filter from my first apartment; i just kept the original shower head somewhere so i could put it back on when i moved out.
for the ring light, i only used it during the winter/when i filmed at night because i had a lot of light from my windows coming in during the day
해외사는 한국인으로서 진심으로 부럽습니다. ㅎㅎ
As a Korean living in foreign country, I really want to live there with the cost. I want to walk instead of driving. You are living in my dream lol.
I live in korea too. I have been looking for eucalyptus for a while. Where did you buy it?
i went to a local flower shop (꽃집) in my city! you can find them almost everywhere in most cities. eucalyptus sounds exactly the same in korean so it’s easy to ask for. i pay usually 12k-15k won for a large bunch
Beautiful apartment just need Organization.. use baskets in the cupboards
thanks for the suggestion!
What are those buttons next to the toilet seat?
it’s a bidet :)
My i know the exactly addres your apartmen? I will go to korea on May for study. But i cant live in the dormitory because i come with my husband. So i would like to looking for apartmen that near my school in Sejong city. KDI School.
I’m actually living in Sejong now.
love sejong! enjoy!!!!
Are u in Sejong city?!
Your hair 😍😍😍
The bed is a robot! O.O
Could you place the dollar prices next to the won amounts please.
It helps those of us watching but have never lived in South Korea.
sure, but as a reference $1 USD is more or less around ₩1,000 KRW. easily able to be roughly converted or googled since i have many viewers that are from countries that don’t use USD :)
@@heyitsanne Thank you. We don't use US Dollars in my country either but many currencies are measured against the dollar so its easier to convert USD off the top of your head to a local currency, than from Korean Won to a local currency. Thank you for the currency conversion though. Will remember that 😊.
that is true and a good point.. i will try to remember to add USD conversions in my future videos 🙂
Since you found your own apartment, are you receiving the 400,000 won allowance from EPIK?
yes
❤️
