i'm gonna be the Scarlet Witch for halloween and i thought this would be a good prop but all the premade ones were too expensive for my budget and all the diys i saw were farrrr too complicated for my skill level (and, again, budget) but this one is PERFECT it's cheap and pretty simple with a bit of hard work and very very doable for someone with little crafting skill. thank you for making this!!!
This was so awesome! You inspired me to retry making the Dark hold and I was successful this time I still gotta do that pages but I’m so proud of myself! Seriously great work. You inspired me so much. Thank you :D
Uhhh yes, I rebuilt it at home and it looks soo cool!!! 😃 Thank you so much for the tutorial!!! 🙌🙌 Mine is a bit smaller, cause we didn't have cereal packs at home. But it's great otherwise!!😃🙌
Great video!! I’ve not finished my darkhold yet but looks great so far thanks to this! The kitchen roll is a really nice idea, was surprised by how much of a difference it made
Question - The texturing made first by paper towel and white glue, then on the spine done by hot glue only: Were you trying to simulate leather or another material?
I did that to out of a cereal box and it was small and broke 🥲 So I made one out of foam and it looks so good and is much better quality but you really made it work 👍
I want to make this but i dont have a hot glue gun also for pages i would just get a book nearly the same size or any size and glue it on the front and back and then i would draw every single page or it would be like a dark hold sketch book
Super would work! Or even just white glue (it'll just take a lot longer since you'll have to wait for every piece to dry before moving onto the next one).
I am goign to make this book just like you have told in the video because i can do a few pagen from the movie and the rest of the pages i am goign to put REAL LIFE WITCHCRAFT SPELLS in it u inspired me so much thank you
This is the longest video I've ever posted so I hope you guys like it!

I'm so glad! The pages aren't too bad...heck, you could even just print them out and distress them with tea bags so they look old.
Good luck!
@@CardboardCosplay The Darkhold exacts a heavy toll. 😈

Thanks! I'll be posting a veryyyy short one tomorrow and then a longer fancier one within the next week.
as soon as I saw the thumbnail I knew I had to make this into a journal whin I filled up my current one.
That's a great idea!
You help me so much
I'm glad! Thanks for watching!
Its a shame you didn't add the dreamwalking spell. That was the most iconic spell in multiverse of madness.
Question - The texturing made first by paper towel and white glue, then on the spine done by hot glue only: Were you trying to simulate leather or another material?
Just two different ways to give texture. Hot glue is another option in case someone didn't want to wait for the white glue/paper towels to dry.
I did that to out of a cereal box and it was small and broke 🥲
So I made one out of foam and it looks so good and is much better quality but you really made it work 👍
Haha! Oh no. At least your foam one turned out okay!
omg ITS REALLY GOOD THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😼

Very good man
اعجبني👍👍👍
Thanks!
im confused do we cover the entire thing in kitchen roll or not
Yes. The paper towels are what gives the book texture. Then, other pieces are glued on top of it in order to give it more details.
Hi, how do I put the spine? Like hot glue it or how
I am goign to make this book just like you have told in the video because i can do a few pagen from the movie and the rest of the pages i am goign to put REAL LIFE WITCHCRAFT SPELLS in it

How do I glue the spine?
Your so underrated
Thanks, that's very nice of you to say!
How big that book in cm? Each angle
Couldn't you just have stick the printed pages on the cardboard and mess it up with watercolor?
Absolutely. 100%
Looks amazing but the part where you said like a key shape its actualy a goat/ram head
